Kane... Seriously... I don't want to be too unfriendly, but... If you're going to try and philosophise, Would you mind reading philosophy first? A chemistry reading might be useful too... Skip to the States of Matter and Thermodynamics. A bit of Earth Science wouldn't hurt, either...
Snow is only the solid state of water... If you're going to personify Dihydrogen Monoxide, then I can very well also say: "And just as you kill snow, you're giving birth to the same amount of water!"
Also, this is something that for the most part happens outside of our control in the Earth's natural systems. When enough thermal energy is introduced into the environment, water molecules begin to vibrate enough to partially overcome their bonds enough to flow. Not only is it natural, but a critical part of nature. And every other molecule shares this trait.
Also, if snow is somehow human when it's not even an organic molecule, what about living organisms? Hunters are allowed to kill their prey. It's a part of nature... Just as well, we kill our own prey for our own survival: Cows, pigs, chickens, horses, rabbits, etc. If that doesn't seem to bother you, why would you even make an argument for snow, of all things?
Are you making an argument for Global Warming? And you're choosing snow to try and get us to look at the subject? What about the animal species, especially those that are a nation's symbol, that are in danger because of this? Aren't they a more efficient targer?
I understand the human need to project their image into other organisms... BUT SNOW?! Really... Please read actual philosophy... You'll look a lot smarter and less of a poser. It's a lot of fun, too! You seem to hold some desire to exercise your mind in creative ways... Please indulge this, Read actual philosophy, you'll see just how much better it is than trying to personify snow.
