((hey, I'm back.. *hides behind bush scared of wrath* Someone just kick me in the pants next time I have to leave for so long. I've not been able to get on for more than about 3 minutes a week lately. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. sweatdrop Sorry all around))
Kaden looked worried. "I wouldn't be suprised if it was your father..." He said. "He was furious. He could be planning to go to war with us." He pulled his hair back with his hand. "Were there any services for Kojay yet?"

raylana shrugged, not knowing if inwe had planned anything or not. "kaden" she said softly "if he it is my father i should... go back... i cant get your people into war" she said all this so quietly that only he could hear, not the surrounding people.

Kaden nodded at Inwe. "I'm very sorry for you loss." He said with a bow of his head. He turned back to Raylana and put a soft hand on her arm. "If... if you feel you must go, then I understand. But I'll do everything I can to prevent war from comming to your people. I- I don't want want to lose you. I need you." he said with a pained expression, his people not overly expressive of their emotions to this extent. "We'll take care of it, I promise." He put his forehead to hers and looked straight into her eyes. All this he said quietly so the surrounding people could not hear.

she sighed "but your people kaden" she said "if you go over there, even to work it out, someone will get hurt, and i dont want that"

Before Kaden was able to say anything more a young man appeared beside the couple. His skin was a dark tan from living since youth in the hot country. His hair was black and framed his youthful face. He wore a fine tunic of fine cotton embroidered with gold. The King's other son. He looked to be about 17. The idealistic strong headed young man had soft lines that come of care and worry. His eyebrows came together in a worried expression as he witnessed his brother. When his brother caught his eye he bowed his head slightly in greeting. He bowed to Raylana as well, this time more deaply. "My Lady. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Prince Sein. I am Kaden's brother, and if what I hear is correct, soon to be yours as well."

raylana smiled sweetly and curtseyed to him, she ducked her head in respect, for she was no longer royalty. she wasnt in her lang and it was just best to show respect. "please, call my raylana" she said, waving her hand as if to wipe away her formal title. "it is a pleasure to meet you"

Inwe sat by the mound. All that was there was a star shaped flower. She hummed a song, then started to sing it.
"Out of doubt, out of dark, to the day's rising
he rode singing in the sun, sword unsheathing.
Hope he rekindled, and in hope ended;
over death, over dread, over doom lifted
out of loss, out of life, unto long glory."
She blinked back tears. How unfortunate this past month has been. How she wished she could go back in time. She started to sing the verse again,

Sein bowed again. "Welcome again Lady Raylana." He said courtiously. He turned to his brother, a wide smile comming over his face. The first sign the boy showed of being an actual person as well as a member of the royal hourse hold. "I've missed you Kaden. I'm so sorry I wasn't here when you were here last with Lady Raylana here. I was in another Kingdom arranging a new trade between lands. This line of duty stuff is truely over rated." The boy obviously hadn't realised he had walked into a very delicate conversation.

raylana smiled slightly, her eyes still showed her worry and grief but she was a princess and her lessons and breeding showed well. she held her body and voice strong in front of another. "it really is" she said, knowing from experience it wasnt anywhere near as glamorous as people liked to pretend.
