Wow Nadi, you wrote a novel, a well written novel, but a novel none the less.

At the same time, I don't think it's fair of us to ridicule someone because they are "simple minded". We may find it annoying, and yes rebuttals are appropriate, but should we really be namecalling and such? I know I'm just as guilty btw.

I tend to eat... very little over the summer.
Like, only dinner, and then just half or less than half of a normal meal size.
I've been snacking a lot more lately though
I think it's because my roommate constantly eats
It's rubbing off on me > >
But I've found that if I'm hungry, eventually if I refrain from eating, it passes and I'm not hungry anymore. 8D
...my tummy hurts right now though.

In other news...
Part two of the Spanish exam was today.
I may have done alright.

To be honest Kane most of your posts make me cringe. Your grammar is rather poor, but I can spot you on the passion for RPing.

Just curious, how old are you Kane? Is English your native language?

You can see why I'm considering writing a few essays on a blog and eventually publish a few on a magazine or a newspaper once I'm more developed.
Or maybe just write a whole bunch of them and make a book out of it.
I'm really only in the stage of figuring out the essays I'll be writing for now,
so I'm not really putting much thought into getting published.
Nor will I do so anytime soon.

But, I don't really know any other way to describe it.
Sure, it's name-calling, but how else are you going to put it?
These are people that don't really analyze things.
They think they're doing so,
hell, I was only marginally above them a few short years ago.
I took whatever thought seemed deep at the time and held it up in the air,
"Aha! See what intellectual fruit my mind has brought forth! Philosophy at its best!"
...Well, not exactly, but you get the point.
I never picked up the book until a friend of mine gave me two of Voltaire's works.
Only after studying it for myself did I realize just how shallow and simple I'd thought.

Also, being simple-minded does not necessarily entail stupidity,
just an lack of deep analysis.
I usually try to keep my tone away from ridicule.
sure, I find it somewhat repellent,
but I just rebutt with real arguments and try to lead them carefully into real thinking.
Calling them 'simple' is really the only way I have of really showing them what they are.
I have a lot of choise words to use, but they're not really apropriate for a helpful environment.

As for namecalling, you should see the ones I have for the plebs!
Or, the masses;
the majority.
Calling them simple-minded would be the highest compliment among them all.
By entire light-years.

Snow, Kane...
Snow makes me cringe.
I am a monitor lizard!
I trive in the heat of the tropics!
Tundras make me shiver and squeal!
Blizzards are fatal disasters for my kind.
I proceed to these places with a magical torch,
melting such abomination well before it comes near me.

Edit: I skipped my physics section, so I'm heading out to take the later ones.
I'll probably log in the library or computer resources later on in the day.
Hopefully I'll be able to make the graphs there.

Kane, do I have to point out your snow post again?
I know you were trying to make us think, but like I said on my previous posts,
it's a horribly failed attempt.
You don't make people think by pretending snow is human.
It's not a proposition at all...

I also find it ironic that you claim not to have any spelling errors while having both bad structure and spelling in that very sentence.

I have viewed your RP threads and they are not quite up to par with the majority of the members here. I do however see a passion in playing your character. I do not say that you are simple minded. I do know you can improve your character amongst the experiences you share with other RPiers.

I just hope you are aware that you need improvement : D. I am watching you improve Kane, I just hope you have enough willpower to keep up with us : D.

Nadi, its not that I disagree with you. I'm just considering the whole dragging things out problem. Although, I definitely feel you are completely right in what you say. I think there's pointing something out, and then beating it like a dead horse. Yes, he needs improvement, and many of the things you say may be true, but is he really going to want to come here and get better if the ooc is filled with nothing but negative posts about him?

By saying you're simple-minded, I'm merely saying that I'm a better analyst.
Also, my mastery of English as a second language clearly has an advantage over yours.

Now, that doesn't mean I'm better than you.
Your strengths may lie where my weaknesses does.
If somebody is better at one thing, that does not mean that they are superior on the whole.
I can't claim to be better than you because I don't have the slightest clue on your entire potential.

Also, I commend you for showing interest in improvement, but you not only don't seem to take them at heart, but actually have the gall to argue that it's not true as with your whole "Capital 'I's are not enforced because of grammatical reasons" argument.

If somebody clearly has mastered something that you haven't, you take their advice and improve with it.
You don't argue that they're wrong.
