Lance kissed her softly again. "They may grow faster than humans, but they aren't going to die as fast, or at all maybe." He said, trying to make her feel better.

Leora closed her eyes. "Don't add the maybe. Never add the maybe." she said as she held Michelle tightly. Where was Alexis with the first aid kit? She wanted to heal her baby as soon as possible.

Alexis came into the room then with the medical kit. "What happened?" She asked when she saw the bite marks and started pulling out bandages.

Leora looked over to Alexis and then set her glass of blood down before pulling the cup of blood away from Michelle and moving over to Alexis and looked through the medical kit for something to clean the wound. "Eric happened . . ." she sighed out before pulling out an alcohol swab. It would sting, but it would clean. She opened it and then, speaking softly to Michelle about how everything was okay now and it would only sting a bit before wiping it gently over the bite and then blowing softly on it to try and ease the stinging sensation.

Michelle winced in pain when she felt the stinging sensation of the alcohol against her bite marks.

When the wounds were clean, Alexis placed bandages over them. After that, she moved onto Michael's bite marks.

Leora sighed and kissed Michelle repeatedly on her head. "My Michelle . . ." she said softly and lovingly.

Michael looked over at Alexis, and almost sensing what she wanted, he turned in his father's arms to somewhat hide his bite marks. He didn't want Alexis to clean his wounds, he wanted his mommy to. He looked over at his mother and let out a small cry of "Muh!"

Leora looked up at that, her eyes wide, was he trying to say 'mama?'

Michael squirmed some more and reached towards his mom. "Muh! Muh!" he repeated.

Lance looked down at his son with a surprised expression. He wasn't sure what to say or do other than do what Michael seemed to want. He walked over to Leora and handed her him, watching him to see if he was going to say his first word.

Leora handed Michelle over to Lance in return so that she could hold her baby boy.

Michael curled up to his mother. "Muh . . ." he said softly.

Leora laughed and looked at Lance. "I think my name is 'muh.'" she said with a smile and then looked through the first aid kit once more and pulled out another alcohol swab. "Okay Michael . . ." she said softly to her son as she gently dabbed the swab over his bite marks and blew gently on them to lessen the stinging. "It's okay . . ." she breathed out.

Michael winced from the sting but otherwise made no protest.

Lance smiled back at her and chuckled while cradling his baby girl. "I wonder when they'll be able to say my name." He said and looked down at Michelle, kissing her forehead softly, hearing a soft giggle in response from her,

Leora shrugged but smiled and then kissed her son gently, eliciting giggles from him as well. She then looked at Lance with a smile. "We need to go on an outing!" she said happily.

Lance didn't seemed to be too surprised by this. "Alright, sure. Where would you like to go?" He asked softly, cradling his daughter gently and smiling lovingly at his beautiful wife.

Leora smiled. "I dunno. A park . . . a playground maybe . . . I'd love to take them down a slide . . . or push them on a swing . . ." she said softly, smiling down lovingly at her son before lifting her gaze to meet Lance's.

"Okay, let's go." Lance said with a smile as he moved one arm away from under his daughter and wrapped it around Leora. Then, he started leading her to the back door of his- their large castle. Come to think of it, he couldn't remember ever showing her the garden in the back. In fact, he couldn't quite remember the last time he even opened the back door, he'd never had very much reason to.

Leora blinked as they went in a way that she'd never been before. "Where're we going?" she asked curiously.

"Out the back door." He explained as he took a turn in a hall and noticed an old door at the end of the new hall. "Sorry I never got around to showing it to you, it slipped my mind." He said as he walked to the door and opened it. Alexis was always going here to calm down or if she wanted to see the beauty of her work, so naturally, it looked well tended to. There were tons of different flowers and plants in the garden. From white roses to purple tulips, it was like an explosion of color, though each delicately placed and arranged. There was also a shimmering pond to the right.
