so I bought some.

What's bad about Riders? I haven't played that, and haven't found it anywhere.....
I bet all the super fanboys who start Nintendo-Sega versus thread are gonna either love or completely hate the Olympics game that's coming...
Love cuz they can "find out" who's better (which obviously depend on the player, much like in Smash Bros). Hate because you know they aren't gonna make either main character completely dominant, or no one'll play as the weaker characters..
Sonic Riders is almost like Sonic R to me; its just a racing game with much better graphics and an enhanced system. The downside is that it gets old...way too fast.
I had imagined Mario being the "high-point selling character" anyway; you know they have to do SEGA wrong. Hopefully they will do what I hope they'll do; incorporate both styles into the game for the separate characters. I better not see Mario running loops or Sonic eating mushrooms to get bigger or something...
And actually, I was thinking of an awesome intro video for before the start screen....
Mario and Sonic going through separate levels of their own games, and at the final stretch (split-screen at this point), the levels combine into an Olympic kinda arena, where Sonic and Mario are running side by side, as the camera shifts over in front of them (kinda like how it did to Sonic in the Sonic Heroes intro), then turns towards the field by the track where Tails and Luigi are playing soccer, then the camera jumps to Knuckles and Peach doing.. Some sport.. Dunno what... Then it goes to something with Eggman and Bowser. 3nodding
That'd be so awesome.

That's actually not a bad idea. I wonder is Robotnik and Bowser are bosses in this game and its more of a team up of Sonic and Mario (but its a minor competition), or is it just simply Sonic vs Mario.
Knuckles and Peach need to be playing basketball or Tennis. xd

OMG! Tennis with them! Definitely! Knuckles doing insane powershots, and Peach using Toad as a racket xd
I dunno if it'll really have much of a plot actually... It could just be a generic Nintendo sports game, with Sonic characters to increase sales, and cuz the developers felt like it....
Uh.. Hey.. I randomly just thought of something... In Riders, each characters except Eggman needed an emerald to get in the races, yes?
Weren't there more than 8 characters? sweatdrop
