Sure is. o wo The site's much better than it used to be; not every feature has really worked out, but once you know how to make good forum posts and whatnot, it's really quite nice. Plus there's lots of other stuff to do if you've got some time to kill... heck, this place even has its own MMO game.

Not the largest or the greatest or the longest ever made, but complete on its own. o wo Doesn't take an insane amount of time to beat it, either, but it's fairly fun in its own way and offers a good way to spend some time with friends if you're bored.

Yup. There's serious areas, not serious areas, places where you'll scream and run away, and all sorts of other things... lots of artists (with varying prices...), an ongoing economy for rare items (like a good chunk of what my Avatar has... XD), and so on and so forth. Not everywhere is great, but chances are if you look hard enough, you'll always find *something* to enjoy.

If your art is even reasonably decent, you can probably open a shop and get at least some customers. XD In fact, you'll probably be able to earn enough for any kind of avatar you want.

As for mine... yeah, it's kind of expensive. o wo Especially the pendant, but while this isn't completely insane on the cost, it's not a casual one, either. It's well over a million gold, probably higher. It's also my main avi, occasionally switched with my Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV cosplay. I like to save my money for other stuff. XD

Well, it's basically just the currency exchange... you can buy items in shops or from other users, or send it without getting anything in return as an exchange for services rendered (like making you art). Use it on some of the games (slots, etc.) for other prizes. Around here, Gaia Gold can be used to bribe the Guild's Captain (Administrator/Boss/Head Honcho) for items to equip onto your character. The prices look high for people who are new to GAIA, but aren't really that high for anyone who's around regularly. XD They won't be overwhelming or needed to win, either, just nice, useful additions. If you've got nothing else to spend money on once you have an avi, well... 's not a bad choice.
