You read a book and did a paper on it in 8 hours total. I'd say that's great time management that would allow you to spend time on other things. Sounds like a good way to go.
You know, if I ever end up designing a video game, I'm gonna call it, "Final Universe" or something of the sort, just so that the accronym would be "FU". And then I'll make a sequel, so that when someone walks in and asks, "What are you playing? FU?" the person playing would say, "FU2."

Chase Me To The End For Easter, I read a school book in five hours and did a ten page paper on it in three. So it pretty much sucked. By my ma was nice enough to pick up Reese's peanut butter chocolate eggs for me. Haha, love that woman. @Angela: Aren't kiddy movies always predictable? Also, I found myself a used copy of both FFVIII and FF Anthology at the same store I found FFVII and FF Chronicles. Needless to say I'm basking in the mother f***ing FF light. I will start VIII after I beat X. Yeah, but it was still pretty good. On a related note, the CGI on the beards was really good, well the CGI was great overall, but not enough to "make Avatar jealous." I want to slap whoever said that. I highly suggest you use a guide for VIII. Because of the Junction system, it is a very time consuming game.

Biohazard EXTREME I'm kinda wishing that news about RE: Afterlife, about it being based partially on RE5 was a prank... But I'm sure screenshots don't lie. Well, guess I won't be bothering with Afterlife. EDIT: Actually, I had a dream that I was in it, not in the movie, but like, in that world myself. And Umbrella captured me and started doing experiments on me. It was quite painful. I didn't transform into a monster, but I felt like it was imminent. Yea, I was very disappointed when I saw the trailer for Afterlife. I was really looking forward to this movie and now I don't even wanna watch it. *sigh* I guess the RE series is officially dead now... sad

I agree with everyone. I'm pretty disappointed in the decision, especially since the parasites just don't fit in with the world Extinction created. Oh well. I'll still see it, cause like Death Race (Which is nowhere near as awesome as the original cult classic), I just expect fun and cheese.
EDIT:
@Angela: Thanks for the advice, but I only use guides to find the sidequests. I feel they make the experience less...Err, magical then when you discover the game by yourself.

AngelaAshford I highly suggest you use a guide for VIII. Because of the Junction system, it is a very time consuming game. Well, not necessarily. If you wanna be lazy about it, you can always just auto-junction stuff to either Attack, Defense, or Magic. It's what I always do, and then just tweak it, if I have to. Here's the thing that bugs me about people who complain about FF8's Draw system. They say, "Oh, it's so time consuming, blah blah blah." But your whole stats are based on it. The more magic you draw the higher your stats will be, the stronger you will be. And the leveling system is so much less significant that it balances it out. I mean, let's say you wanna raise your stats, so you draw this powerful magic from one enemy, which might take about 10 minutes, 20 if you're not lucky... While that seems like a lot... In any other RPG, like FF7, if you wanna raise your stats, what do you have to do? You have to level grind for hours. So it's really not that bad. People just don't realize that leveling up is really not that essential of a thing in FF8. The only reason to grind in that game is to learn GF abilities. And most of that AP comes from Bosses anyway. EDIT: Chase, I replied to your comments on my top VG characters, and I also posted the first part of my top 100 movies. Enjoy.

Ok I need help on something. Also Ithink someone in hear woulddk now a thing or two about it. I jsut recently found out my cousin got a PS3 Also he got MGS4 I want to play it badly. The only problem is that it's in Japanese.......well most of it is. The fron where it has laod game, new game, and all that is in English, but other things like under Auio and visuals it's in Japanese. I was hoping that maybe you guys knew an option on the English version that can switch laguages for the audio, or mybe the subtitles? If not can the PS3 change languages so that the game also changes? I need help. I figure someone that's played the game can help since the English verison should have all the same options it has in Japanese.

Well, there's no option to change languages on the English version if that's what you're asking, so I'm pretty sure on the Japanese version, you can't change languages either. Same with the subtitles. Why didn't your cousin get the English version of MGS4? Imported or something. The PS3 is region free, so it would work.

you forget I'm in Tai3wan we speak ostly Taiwanese and Mandarin Chinese here. Sdly if their is an Asian version of these games it's usualyl Japanese and not English or Chinese. I personally think it's stupid, but I guess I'll jsut have to watch youtube walkthroughs to know the story and know what to do.

Yeah, but how do you play other games? I mean, so you understand Japanese? And if you do, then why is it an issue?

See, I knew it was a safe bet to say that I would like Sazh because I love Barret and he is also black. Where's the logic in that? Well, I had a feeling Square Enix was going to be all sterotypical with Sazh as they were with Barret...And I was right. They just made Sazh all sorts of stereotypically awesome by making him say the phrase "Who'da thunk." Jive.

You know, I'm having second throughts about getting FF13 at all. I mean, at the end of the month, I'll be spending $300 on a new PS3, and since I wanna have 1000 saved up in my account that means I'll have to put away my leftover money until that 1000 accumulates again. Plus my next priority is God of War 3, and then in June Metal Gear Solid for PSP comes out, then in July, Persona 3 for PSP comes out, and I think that same month Alpha Protocol comes out, which looks like it's gonna be a better RPG than any Mass Effect. Then after that who knows? Plus, I think I'm just over FF. Not that I'd think it's bad, but I dunno... I was kind of anticipating FF13, not really all that much. And by now it's like, ehh... Plus Notte says that it reminds her of FF10, but she's stil fairly disappointed with it. Which is like, two negatives for me.

She rarely comes by anymore, and even when shes does, it's just to say hi and disappear again haha. Speaking of disappearing, where has Thee Stranger gone? He was one of the more active members as well until recently. I'll give my full thoughts on FFXIII at a later time.

But I didn't like the friggin robot. Oh yeah, I beat Persona 3 twice. That's on PS2 though, I wanna have it on the go. It's like, my favorite JRPG aside from Persona 4. @Chase: Yeah, we got a bunch of Houdini people going on. The guild is dying. sad
