L nodded and said "We're leaving now..." Light walked over to L and they both left. When they were outside they ran back to the office where L pick locked the handcuffs off Light. Light rubbed his wrists and said "How did you learn to pick locks?" L smiled a little and said "To catch a criminal you have to know how they work." Light sat in a chair still rubbing his wrists. L hit a button on the intercomm system to Watarei's room "Watarei, I know it is late but this is urgent...I need you to..." Light smiled a bit as L was about to announce the Kira mission over. L paused for a moment and said "...Send some cake up to my room...We've run out." Light looked angered and walked out and went into the bathroom and punched the wall "DAMMIT!!! DAMN THAT L!!!" Ryuk flew through the ceiling like a ghost and said "Why so mad Light?" Light quickly turned to him "L still has the Kira investigation up! He was order to give up!!" Ryuk cackled a bit "And you beleive L would just ignore your threat?" Light held his forehead and said frustrated "I thought he'd be smarter then that...Ryuk, you no doubt saw his name correct?" Ryuk nodded and said "That I did." Light laughed and said "Good! Tell me!!" Ryuk put the tip of his finger on his bottom lip thinking then said "...Nah." Light went from excited to angered "N-Nah?!...WHY?!?!" Ryuk smiled and said "It'd take away from all the fun." then cackled like a madman. ((The bathroom Light's in is far downstairs so no one in L's office can hear him yelling.))

When the cake arrived L looked at Saber and smiled "Thank you Saber." he said as he took a slice. He looked at InuYasha, Kagome, Tatsumi, and Watari and had the fork's end in his mouth "Well go ahead...If I'm the only one eatting this cake I'll feel like I'm taunting you guys with it..."
Light arrived back in the room after venting and sat in a chair holding his forehead with his face red from anger and yelling. "Sorry, I had to use the bathroom and argue with some one in the hall afterwards...About what?...I'd wrather not say..."

L ate some of his cake then said "That may be how it is but you two are witnesses to what Kira can do, and if the need arises you could take up the role of bodyguards."

((In L's office. 'Cept for Tsuzuki and Hisoka, who were captured by Muraki.))

Tatsumi and Watari looked at L, then around the room, Tsuzuki and Hisoka weren't there, even after all this time.
"L," Tatsumi started, "where's Tsuzuki and Hisoka? They followed after you when you left."

-The Basement Of a Cloning Lab at a College Campus-

Hisoka was strapped up against a wall, unable to move, the thin pieces of wire used to hold him cutting into his skin, blood dripping down the lines into small pools that had formed at his feet. He weakly looked up to see Tsuzuki strapped to what seemed to be a medical bed, he was unconscious as Muraki typed things on his computer. He growled lowly, causing the doctor to turn around, revealing a green cylinder. Despite the bad lighting in the room, he noticed what was in the cylinder- a disembodied head.
"What? Feeling left out?" Muraki approached Hisoka, getting close, his normal white lab coat had splatters of blood on it, probably his.
"Not in the least," Hisoka said, "What are you planning this time Muraki?"
"I don't like to spoil prizes," he got closer to Hisoka, caressing the boy's cheek, "be patient and enjoy the show."
With that he smirked and turned, returning to the computer.

"There is something else that I must ask you, L," Saber said coldly. "I have revealed to you much about myself. The fact that I am a Servant, and I bear this family name as if it didn't mean anything. Bearing that name alone is awkward enough, considering that there is no current family in the world bearing that name since the middle ages. On top of that, you accept that I have skills on the frontline of battle, despite my appearance and gender. I could only come up with one conclusion:

"Could it be you know who I really am, despite all the impossibilities? There are only two in this world who know who I am, and one of them is Archer, and I doubt he would ever tell you without my consent."

Shirou was about to tell Saber to cool it when he heard Inuyasha, and jerked his head to face the half-demon. "How far away?"

Shirou looked over at Saber as Inuyasha ran out. They only stared at each other for a moment before Saber nodded understandingly. Once outside the building, she was absorbed in a flash of blue light, changing instantly into her battle armor, and darted past Kagome without so much as a side-ways glance.

(Should have been more clear that Saber was the only one who rushed out.)

Shirou nodded. "Right. I don't like this, though...Even with Saber's help...I guess I shouldn't worry. If the guy isn't as strong as Hercules or Gilgamesh, then it shouldn't be a problem for Saber."

Saber quickly caught up to Inuyasha. "How much farther?"
