The Korean ripped his own shirt off, revealing muscles that, while not as impressive as the twins, were just as intimidating. His eyes widened at their words. "Niji..." he whispered, then growled. "You leave her OUT OF THIS!" he cried, his anger rising by the moment.

Slightly shaken, Day slowly took a step forwards and grabbed his hand. "You need to stay back as well.... I'm not going to let them kill you." She murmured, pulling him back with astonishing strength.

"oh, but she's been a part of this for years. Or don't you remember that lab you helped destroy? It was the very same one that we used to turn her into what she is now. Her, her brothers, and that dog they keep as a pet" Jekyll murmured as he started for Lock, his steps laced with indigo mist.
Mimicking Jekyll from the opposit side, Hyde too was enclosing in Lock. "Too bad her brothers had to run into us before they found that brat. She'll never see them now"

Luciano sighed and nodded, wrapping his arms around her protectively. "We will keep each other safe then."
"What are you talking about?" he sneered, switching his gaze from one to the other at different intervals in time. "I told you to leave her out of this."

"lock, don't listen to them! they're only trying to upset you! they want you to be off your guard when the fight starts!" Day frowned, biting her lip as she caught glares from both her 'brothers'.

"Shut up!" he growled at the twins, glaring. "Leave her the f**k alone! Stop talking about her!"

and suddenly, they were right in his face, demonic grins from ear to ear. "you want to fight? alright then~" they purred, both placing hands on his chest as a pulse of dark energy shot out from their palms.

Lock let out a grunt as he was shoved back by the energy, just barely able to deflect it with the help of a few shadows. Breaking away the energy, he shot a shadow at both twins, desperate for at least one beam to hit one.

As neither of them expected him to be able to walk after their attack, the twins were caught off guard by the shadow he sent at them, both being pushed a few steps back before turning into mist and reforming around it.

The detective grinned. "I borrowed a little bit of shadow from Ethan when I saw him off. You think he'll notice?" Smirking, he shot two more shadows in their direction.

without any words on the matter, Jekyll disappeared from view, fading into a black mist that slowly floated down the cliffs, passing by lock.
"do you think he'd notice if we dropped your head on his doorstep?" Hyde purred as he sent a flame Lock's way.

Lock dodged the flame as best he could, wincing as fire licked his forearm. Rubbing out the flame, Lock tossed another shadow towards them, aiming to disarm, literally. "Leave my Ethan out of this," he hissed, eyes narrowing.

reforming behind lock, Jekyll smirked and shook his head. "ah, but you see, he's a pawn in the game just like you~" he drawled, shooting ice shards at the pop star.
"as is the opera bat. and our sister." Hyde nodded, a flame surrounding Day and Luciano so they couldn't interfere. "but now that they're out of the way this is just a two on two match. you two, and us."
