Well, yellow contrasts with every color except white/very light colors, so... *shrugs* Now, yellow text with a black border isn't always *pretty*, but subtitled movies and such often use it because it DOES show up well at all times, and that's more important than looking super-fancy.

Or, at least, hard-to-read. Some fonts, dood... It's like going to the opera and not having the lyrics on a paper in front of you. XD Fun but garbled.

Eeyup. o wo Though I do tend to use font colors around here to help distinguish characters from one another easier; it's a simple and obvious way of doing it and seeing, at a glance, who said what.
But when characters of similar colors meet, I have to start changing things... >.<
