"oh! Thanks!" Asako said, her eyes sparkling slightly. She went over and picked out a few pasteries with a look of obvious joy.

Mello watched with interest as he leaned against the counter. "No problem," He replied waiting for the girl.

She got her things together and went to the counter, it came to a grand total of $12. "Mello...?" Asako said, looking at him.

"Hm? Oh, right." Mello replied in a daze and quickly paid for her pastries. "Got what you want?"

Asako nodded and smiled as she took a bite out of the lemon raisin twist she bought. "Thank you."

Mello nodded in response, he honestly didn't want to go back already. Asako asked to many questions, well, enough and returning would probably being some sort of awkward silence. "Anything you want to do?"

"Huh? Well, uhm...I don't know... What is there to do here... I still don't know where we are really..." Asako said with a shrug, the bread hanging from her mouth.

"Right," He laughed a little and then looked around curiously. "Well, I guess there's a park not to far off.. or.."  

[MayaTheNobody]

"Hmm, a park? Okay. I haven't been to one in a long while... Haven't really had a lot of time off to go to a park..." she said, shaking her head, looking slightly angry. "Oh, but we shouldn't let the chocolate melt...."

What a dilemma, he thought to himself. "Don't worry about it, it'll be fine." Mello answered rather hesitantly.

"If you say so..." Asako answered slowly, watching his expression. "So... where is this park of yours...?"

"It's not that far.." He frowned while in thought, leading the way, yawning a little.

"Okay!" She smiled and took out another pastery and started eating it. "You want any...?"

He glanced at her from the side and after a few moments of silence answered her, "Sure."

She smiled and ripped a piece off. "Here!" She handed him some of the pastery.
