Lily could feel Kir's self loathing and knew he was blaming himself. "None of this is your fault," she told him, looking around to see if the drow was nearby. "We should get going before they show up."

"But where can we go? The forest is out of the question, so where should we go?" Amaranth asked.
"..." Kir started to cringe occasionally.

DUrrahn shook her head. She hate that she was no help in navigation situations. So she stood there, waiting for a decision.

"I don't know," Lily said, continuing to look and feel for their pursuers. "We are running out of places to go," she said, holding in a sigh.

"Maybe Lake Alenca? It's out of the way, and we might be able to have some peace there," Amaranth said.
Kir struggled to be let down. Amaranth set him on his feet lightly.
He looked despondent, and only looked at Amaranth.

"And if we go someplace far away that drow probably won't want to pursue as that far," Lily said, nodding. "I think that's one of our best options right now."

"Alright then," Amaranth said and turned to Kir, "Are you able to fly?" She asked.
"..." Kir nodded to Amaranth, but his eyes never once left her face. It was like she was the only thing in his world all of a sudden.
"Then, I will take Durrahn and Rya. Lily should go with Kir as usual," Amaranth said, a little unsettled at Kir's behavior.

Durrahn nodded and quickly formed into a basket again, dress folding into it. She waited for liftoff.

Lily passed Rya to Amaranth and watched Kir, carefully. She was worried about the way he was acting and she was pretty sure something was wrong but she didn't know what it was.

Kir's eyes moved over to see Lily and then they went back to Amaranth.
After a moment of silence, "Don't worry, Kir. She's a friend. See? You didn't kill them afterall," Amaranth said, turning away harshly.
Kir looked down for a moment, and then looked back at Lily. Smiling weakly, he offered to lift her up in his arms.

Lily smiled back and walked over to him, putting her arms around his neck. "I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier. I'll explain what was going on when we get to the lake," she said in his ear.

"..." It didn't seem like Kir heard her. He lifted her up.
He looked back up to Amaranth, "Don't worry Kir. She's a friend. There's nothing wrong," She said again and she took to the air.
Kir lifted his wings and, after testing them a few times, followed her into the sky.
"Follow me, Kir!" Amaranth called behind her and took off as fast as she could.
"... Wait! Wait for me big sis!" Kir cried pityingly. Unlike usual, Kir held Lily a little loosely as he flew. His grip wouldn't allow her to fall, but he wasn't trying to keep her in a tight embrace either.

Lily held in a sigh when he didn't respond to her. She thought that he might be mad at her because of her almost loosing control. She hoped that once she explained he would forgive her.
