Kara took a feather and slid back into her pond. "Hurry and go! Before someone sees you!!"

Liz didn't need Jen to tell her to hurry. She flapped her broken wing, which stung a little, but ignored the pain as she took her prize back to the Facility. "Nighty night, Jake. You'll never ever wake."

Irro swore and ducked back into the facility. She ran into her cage and dived into the water. Her disguise fell away immediately. What are we going to do now?!

Jen rolled her eyes again and ran back to The Facility. She saw Irro dive into her cage and panicked. She ran into her lab and saw several of her experimental items missing. Crap! Why'd she take them?! Then she remembered that she wanted the cobra DNA. "Marcus! Do you have any cobra DNA here?"

Irro shuddered as Liz walked into her office. Why? He was only trying to help us. Poor Jake... What can I do?! She shook her bars and saw Jen narrow her eyes at Irro. Irro backed away but Jen grabbed her hand and stabbed a syringe into her neck. She immediately felt pain as she had never felt it before.

Jen laughed as Irro started to scream. She looked at Riley and Kara. "You're next! Irro gets the worst dose because she broke into my lab. But you're next... Kara, I'll save you for when Jake can see." She watched Irro until the screaming started to get softer. The first shock's over, girly, but the pain's just begun! Jen thought as she laughed maniacally. She pulled a 100 volt shock ray. "You're going to suffer, Irro."

Riley pulled the feather out of her dress, twirling it between her fingers. "That's a shame..." She said, just loud enough for someone to hear.

Dr. MArcus walked out of her office. "Yes, there's two in the cabinet. Wh-" She stopped talking, seeing Becca's feather in Riley's hand. She pulled a remote out of her pocket, pressing the button and watching as red lights began flashing in every room.

Kara tried to bite Jen's neck, to make her back off. "How dare you! You b***h!!"

Liz's lab didn't have the red lights, and she didn't hear the sounds outside the door, so she had no clue of what was going on. Jake was still mumbling in his sleep, and it intrigued Liz. She listened to his dreams and his truths. Then she heard something completely new to her. "KARA?!" She pulled the boy over to face her. He mumbled it again. "Oh my god!! That's the single most stupid thing you could have ever done kid!" She grinned evilly and backed up to the door. "I know the most incredible torture I could ever give you now. And Kara's the key."

Jake didn't know he mumbled in his sleep, he'd been dreaming that he and Kara escaped, with the others. The others started to go back to being normal kids. He didn't care that he and Kara were still half fish. He smiled at her, and she smiled back. He was in a world of pure bliss and imagination. His thoughts came in his mind, and unfortunately out his mouth to Liz. "I fell for you, Kara. I didn't know what I was doing. Then you came into the room, risking yourself to escape."

Liz opened her lab door to see the fighting. "WHAT THE HELL?!"

Kara grabbed her ears. "STOP!! STOP IT!!!"

Liz couldn't hear the whistle but guessed what Marcus was doing. "Thanks for not introducing that to my ears."

Noone had noticed in the chaos that Jake woke up, he slid off the examination table and quietly hid himself from view. When he noticed Liz get pushed back inside, he grabbed one of the needles on her little tool cart. He snuck up behind her, and plunged the syringe into her neck, injecting the unknown fluid. Liz didn't even scream, she simply fell over.

Liz felt the tranq enter her system. She couldn't move her mouth to utter a sound. Before she could be overcome, she struggled to stay conscious. When I... wake up... you will die... She watched as the darkness slid over her.

Jake dragged Liz away from the door, he was having trouble. "You're... Ungh... Heavy... You crazy... Ngh... Bird...." He managed to get her to a tool closet. He opened the door and saw a lot of needles, bone saws, and other doctor's tools, all arranged neatly, as if Liz loved her tools like her own children. "Crazy scientist probably does." He dragged Liz inside and dug through her pockets. He pulled out her keys, and a pad of paper. He looked at what she'd written down. The keys dropped to the floor. "The Hell is wrong with you?! You've killed this many teenagers?!" He pocketed the notepad and scooped up the keys, before he left the closet, locking it behind him. "Nighty, night, you psychotic wannabe scientist." Jake ran to the lab door and locked the door with Liz's keys. He did a quick search for an escape. Jake saw a window that had been kicked out. "Is that..." He didn't finish his thought. He still felt bad that he'd been caught. He climbed the same bookcase and streched up to grab the edge. He caught it easily, and swung himself up onto the ledge. He looked out the window to see broken glass, and footprints in the dirt. "She's smart, strong, and incredibly brave." Jake took a deep breath and leapt. He landed with a dull thud, and sat up. His leg never hurt, but he could feel that it wasn't broken anymore. "Woah..." He poked where he remembered the break, it felt solid. He stood up and walked toward the lake.
