Shaking his head, Kai took off his cloak and wrapped it around Saiya. "Yes. That particular rid line cuts back deep into the bed rock, so we should be able to make a fire for warmth and to cook over." he stated, jumping down to a rock outcropping on the hill. Turning he offered a hand up to her. "Is this hesitation a habit of yours?" he joked, smiling up at her as he waited.

Saiya blushed as his cloak landed on her shoulder and rolled her eyes down at him. "Not all of us can be super heroes." She snorted as she ignored his hand and jumped down next to him. She stumbled a bit as it was a longer jump than she had thought, not being able to see it completely thanks to the dark. So much for showing him she was just as tuff as he was.

Kia's hand shot out automatically to steady Saiya. "Nice jump." he stated truthfully. "Everything from here on should be easier." he added over his shoulder as he moved off the side of the outcropping and circled around it to head down the hill.

Saiya sighed. "I couldn't see the slope." She admitted as she pulled his cloak around her. She followed him and sniffed for a moment before pulling his cloak to her nose. "You smell like the forest and sunshine." She commented absently.

Chuckling could be heard in the darkness just ahead of Saiya. "Thanks. Comes with the job I guess." he said, moving easily around a small boulder. "Although I don't think I've ever had anyone put it quite that way before."

Saiya blushed and laughed as she followed him carefully. "My Papa used to say I had the gift of words." She commented. "Grandmother used to roll her eyes and flick him in the forehead, grumbling about old men and make believe." She laughed. "You're cloak is really warm, are you sure you aren't cold without it?"

"I'm fine." Kai stated, as his feet touched even ground. "Besides, we'll be sitting next to a cozy fire in no time." he commented, smiling at her before starting forward again.

Saiya rolled her eyes as she stepped down and onto the cloak without realizing it. With a yelp she hit the ground and groaned. "I think your cloak has it out for me." She muttered as she rubbed her head. She got to her feet and rolled her eyes at how much of his cloak pooled at her feet. "Don't suppose there's a clothing store on the way?" She asked him with a smirk.

"No." Kia said, reaching down to help her up. "But I can see what I can do once we get the camp set up." he offered, his hand still on her arm.

Saiya nodded as she quickly started moving with him again. "Thanks. How much farther is it?" asked him, blushing at his contact.

"Your standing in front of it right now." Kai stated motioning to just off to their right. The rid line had formed what looked like a long, low cave that cut back deep into the rocks. If you hadn't know what to look for you might have passed right by it as it seemed to blend into the night around it. Taking off his pack, Kai ducked down and walked into the gash of a hole.

Saiya hesitated, her grandmother's stories coming back to mind. "Nothing.....lives in there?" She asked him a she cautiously followed him. "Right?" She chewed her lip a she stopped. "I can't see anything." She fumbled in her messenger bag for her small flashlight.

"Not at the moment." came a reply from somewhere in front of her. Striking a match, Kai lit a torch he'd pulled from his pack. Cutting into the blackness you could tell that the further you traveled into it the higher the ceiling was. Kai was now standing up straight as he held the torch up for Saiya to see, looking around he waited for her.

Saiya frowned. "What do you mean not at the moment?" She asked him as she grabbed her flashlight and quickly moved to catch up to him. "How do you know?" She looked around nervously. "You do realize it's not just the cleaners who are after me right?"

"Relax. It simply means that no wolves or bears are in the area." he explained off hand as he set his pack on the ground. "Here, hold this." Kai asked, handing Saiya the torch and dodging her second question. Disappearing outside the mouth of the cavernous shelter he reappeared a few moments later with some wood. Moving quickly, Kai had a small mound ready for a fire before standing back up. "Would you like to do the honors?" he asked.
