Elizabeth finally moved from her stillness as she sat up. "Do you need help with anything?" she asked hopping off the counter, then she walked over to look around. "I really want to help with something."

The chef paused and looked around before telling her, "Well, you could chop up some vegetables." There really wasn't a whole lot to do that the three cooks didn't have covered.

Elizabeth nodded. She washed a carrot and then grabbed a knife. She placed the carrot on a cutting board and started copping quickly. She stopped for a momment and looked at the cook next to her. "Is this good? They aren't to big or anything are they?" she asked as she looked down at the chopped peices. They looked right.

The chef looked over and smiled. "Perfect," he said. "After you've finished with the carrots, you can start on the potatoes." They certainly had a lot of vegetables to get chopped.

Elizabeth smiled warmly and continued to chop quickly, only stopping to grap anouther carrot. She had always loved cooking. It made her happy and at home. She finally finished up the carrots and she began to do the potatoes. The food smelled wonderful around her. The aroma swirled around her, dancing under her nose. "Do...Theo and Donovan eat anything?" she asked curiously to the cook, not taking her eyes off of her task.

The chef glanced over at her before looking back at the meat he was cooking. "No," he said. "Vampires can't digest solids." All the food they were making was for the human servants.

Elizabeth nodded. "Should have figured much." she became so trased into her thinking that she forgot to move her hand while cutting and she sliced a deep cut into her palm. She winced and let out a small cry. She hurried over to the sink, dripping blood onto the potatoes and floor. She began to wash the cut in the warm water. She grabbed a cloth and pressed it against the wound, tring to stop the continues bleeding.

The chef jumped at a sudden cry from her. The other cooks looked over just to see what was going on. The chef frowned, grabbing the potatoes that had blood on them and tossing them in the trash. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Elizabeth's wide eyes stared at the cloth that was now fully soaked in blood. "It won't stop bleeding." she said in a shaky voice. Blood drops fell from the soaked cloth and into the sink. She knew she needed to hurry to her to a nurse or something, but she was frozen were she stood as she stared at her own blood that was slidding down her arm and dripped off her elbow and into the sink. She bleed before and she was fine. She had never frozen up before, so why now? Maybe it was because she was in the house of vampires.

The chef immediately stiffened. Not at her words, but at a sound. A deep growling. His gaze shot to the door. His eyes widened. "Listen to me," he said. "You have to use the other door and run to the nurse. Once outside, use the front door. In the entrance room, there is a hallway going right, go down it. Second door on the left."

Elizabeth was brain dead for a moment, but at the chef's words she was back to herself. She tried to pay attention to his words. She made her way to the slightly hiden door and she began to jog toward the front door. She didn't know a simply cut to the plam of your hand could bleed so much. She was becoming dizzy, but she forced herself forward, her jog becoming a fast, sluggish walk. She got to the door and tried to remember the chef's words. 'What did he say after entering? Gah, I have to remember.' she thought and thought. Then she remembered. 'Right. he said a hallway to the right.' she began to make her way down it and then finally made it to the nurse. Just in time to see the room begin to spin around her. Her blood was still dripping down her arm as she stumbled her way into the room.

Unfortunately, the nurse was not alone. Theo flinched as the nurse put some cream on his stitches. "That's what you get for fighting with Donovan," she said.
"He started it," he mumbled.
Both of them jumped as the door swung open and Elizabeth stumbled in. The nurse rushed over and helped her over to a chair. "What happened?" Theo asked, more like demanded while the nurse assessed the cut.

Elizabeth sat down and she didn't even answer Theo's question. She simply ignored him and stared at her hand blankly as the nurse began to fix the cut. She was shaking slightly and her eyes glazed over slightly for no reason. Her head was slightly aching and her stomach was doing flips at all the blood over her arm.

Theo frowned when she didn't answer his question. He was not going to be ignored. While the nurse got bandages, he grabbed both arms of the chair and spun it around to face him. "Who did this?" he demanded, his eyes blazing with a cold fury. Of course, with a brother like his, he could only assume it wasn't an accident.

Elizabeth glared up at him. "Get away from me, I am not speaking to you." she said with a huff. She then turned her face away from his and glared at the wall. She didn't like him being so mean and cold. If he was going to be, then so was she, for now.
