The Lake

[My Paper Rose]

She splashed him playfully "What would we do without teleportation? God only knows!" She said with fake mockery

Desmond chuckled, the water splashing over him again. "I know, right?" He said, using the same tone.  

[My Paper Rose]

She took a step towards him "Could you please not turn it a shadow?" She smiled as she gripped his shoulders, stood on her tip toes and kissed him.

Desmond was a bit shocked when she kissed him, but he kissed her back after a second or so.

She looped her arms around his neck, not want to brake the kiss that could be so cold, yet so scalding hot.

Desmond let her, wrapping his arms around her, his hands resting on her hips lightly.

Rose broke the kiss, her hands still around his neck. She bit her lip "I'm sorry. Was that too forward?"

"No, not at all." Desmond answered, smiling at her. He really didn't mind much at all.  

[My Paper Rose]

"Good." She gave him a playful n ip on the ear "Can you meet me at the gardens tomorrow?"

Desmond chuckled. "Sure, no problem." He said.

Lexus emerged from the shadows, the moon seemed to glisten softly on top of the lake.
"Now... where did I find the spirits..." she said softly, then moved her hand; causing oddly shaped shadows to appear. One was a big cat of some sort as the other 2 where a bird and a wolf.
"I've come to see you like I promised." she mused as the shadows seemed to go to her, she was on a boulder now; she sat as a black shadow cat and wolf where on both sides, and the bird seemed to be on her finger singing.

I want to go
I got to run
Run to the moment that set me free.
You tell me why
I hear the sound,
The sound of my dream

Erik walked to the lake sadly. Even though he'd taken an antidepressant, he could still feel depression following him. It was too be expected. After all, he had just learned of his family's death today. He sat down on a lonely bench and watched a few ducks swim on the lake. Such blissful ignorance animals feel.
