Nick was fast to get back to Sara and turn back into his normal form. He used his wing to cover her from the rain as he placed an arm around her. "It looks pretty, but we should head inside."

Sara blushed lightly as she felt him put his arm around her and she looked up at him, "Alright, let us head back then. Thank you for putting up those other crystals. We should be safe tonight, the only thing to be afraid of is the storm."

Nick tilted his head and looked at her. "Is there anything I can do to ease that fear?" Nick cuddled up to her and kissed her on the cheek. "If there is, I want to do it." He walked her back into the small house in the clearing.

Sara blushed lightly, "No, I am fine. The worst that can happen would be if the lightning struck a tree and caught fire," she walked with him staying close to him for warmth. "Besides...I think you are more afraid of the storm than I am. Don't worry though, I'll protect you."

Nick smiled sheepishly at her and moved right in front of her. He smiled at her and leaned into blushing and kissed her on the lips. Nick backed away a little bit and looked into her eyes.

Sara blushed deeply as he kissed her on the lips. She looked up at him and her fingertips touched her lips lightly, "W-What was that for?"

Nick blushed and smiled at her. "It is to show affection...if I am not mistaken." Nick stared down at her. "My mother taught me what some of these earth things mean."

Sara was still blushing and she nodded as he spoke, "Oh, I see..." she soon saw her small hut, "Well, I should be glad it was for affection then. It would be terrible if you did it because you hated me..."

Nick walked with her, keeping his wing over the two of them. "Yes..but I was taught the usual was that if the girl did like you, she would kiss back..and if not, have you attacked for...harassment I think it was?" He looked over to her.

Sara nodded as he spoke and she opened the door to her hut, "I see..." she blushed lightly looking at him, "I am not well versed in human ways as you would think..." she then gave a light sneeze covering her mouth with her hands.

Nick blushed as he listened to her. "Neither am I, but I certainly know that you can get sick easier than me...you need to rest." Nick picked her up and took her to the bed inside the hut. "You should not have been out in the cold rain." The large demon walked over to the fireplace and breathed, lighting a small fire inside. He walked back and rubbed her head gently. "My mother taught me much about humans and witches...and I see now why she did."

Sara was surprised when he picked her up and put her in her bed. She blushed deeply as he began to take care of her, she did have a light fever when he touched her forehead, "I'll be okay. And besides, I need to set up a space for you to sleep tonight."

Nick held her down to where she would not get up. "You have a fever...you need to rest, I can sleep on the floor, I have slept on rocks for most of my life, I will be fine." He rubbed her arm gently and sat next to her at and the bed.

Sara stuttered a bit trying to think of something to say, but nothing came out. She blushed as she laid back down on the bed looking up at him. She finally found some words, "Let me at least summon a bed for you, I won't even need to get up, I promise."

Nick raised an eyebrow at her and sighed. "If you wish...I don't want you straining yourself." He smiled at her and kissed her forehead, something his mother did all of the time.
