Demon's Souls: The Less-Lonesome Path [Open and Accepting]

Danaerys tilted her head at the female sprinting for the stairway. She then looked at the dragon who slid the royal off his back. The right corner of her mouth lifted slightly. Intelligent and magestic, yet loyal and wonderful friends it would seem. She then frowned to herself. She kept the direwolf company and previously a dragon hatchling because the three of them were all species that could be beaten and killed just for having been born. She found that still, of the three, they were the least likely to be suddenly voilent or hostile without reason. It saddened her.  

[Zahzi]

Omazige looked down as the Wolf continued to speak, nodding at the end.
"Be mindful of the Priests." he warned her, already seeing on who had noticed him when they arrived.
He did not have a friendly expression, looking at the Templar, either...

As she reached the top of the stairs, Tabari's face was wide with hope and excitement. Maybe they're here. She said people survived and escaped, so someone has to be here! She thought happily, barely even registering the complaints, yells, and grumbles of others as she raced past them and those same people moments later were nearly ran over and shoved aside by her companion.

As the Maiden had promised, there were others who were in the Nexus. It was clear to Tabari these people were not like the others down stairs. Those who were down stairs seemed hardened, prepared, and equipped. These people looked lost, confused, scared, and depressed with what had been lost. Tabari stuck out like a sore thumb with her gleeful expression as she scanned the faces of the survivors.

Her expression started to change though as she stared at the group of survivors (who finally took notice of Celtor, who stood behind Tabari). She recognized none of the faces up here. "There's gotta be more..." She muttered, walking around Celtor to the edge of the stairs.

"Are there any more survivors?" She called out.  

[Zahzi]

"Who are you looking for..?" Adrian asked, walking up to Tabari and Celtor, genuinely curious.
"Someone like you can't possibly have family from Boletaria..."  

[Lady Kyoushu]

Danaerys looked at Omazige and silently approached, making sure to keep a decent amount of distance. She saw where he was looking then looked back to him narrowing her eyes. Something told her that being between the Templar and the other male was probably not a good place for a mage. While she didn't state she was a mage, and wore light armor, she had a feeling that even if she wasn't a mage but associated with a direwolf, that she could be killed. It would seem there would be no easy freedom for her here either.

Xena turned her large head in the direction Omazige looked and her fur stood on end. She had a bad feeling about the other male. While keeping her eyes on the human with the negative aura she spoke to the Templar.
"Who is that man? Something tells me he is not pleasant to be around"  

[Zahzi]

"...Let us say that my history is a checkered one...That man knows me as a corrupt Ex-Templar who deserves nothing but death." Omazige replied as the man walked into an alcove where the others under the Cloth were.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Tabari and Celtor both looked immediately at Adrian as he limped he way up the stairs. Tabari was uncomfortable with his question, again having a loss for words to answer it. She flinched back at his remark, moving herself in close beside Celtor. As she leaned against the dragon's broad shoulder, Celtor stretched out his wing and closed it around his shoulder and Tabari like a blanket.

"N-Not exactly.." She replied quietly. "Not from Boletaria.. At Boletaria..." Her lower lip quivered as she turned herself away from Adrian, hiding her face in Celtor's shoulder.

Celtor gave a pained moan as he turned his head back to gently nudge the girl's side as she started to cry, moving his wing closer around her so that others would not see her.  

[Zahzi]

"...Well who then?" Adrian asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I doubt someone with your attention span would have already scoured this entire place...."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Immediately after Adrian finished his insult, Celtor's head came out from behind his wing. Lips curled back in a dangerous snarl and throat rumbling with a loud growl, he glared at the Thief as he brought his head just inches from Adrian's.

Others in the room were now looking back at the dragon. It had been docile the whole time, which had warded off some of the stares. Now that's behavior changed, many were looking again with hands on their weapons, some having drawn their weapon, and all glaring at the hostile dragon.  

[Lady Kyoushu]

Xena looked at the Templar seemingly without any emotion. "An ex-Templar? Those are rare. You must indeed have a checkered past." Her voice seemed lower, deeper, and raspier than before. "Do you still find both myself and Danaerys abominations then?" The man seemed to be giving an aggressive hateful look which Xena promptly returned.


Danaerys on the other hand had sauntered off while looking around. While looking at a pillar, she perked hearing a warning snarl from the stairway the dragon and his companion had travelled. She swiftly and silently scaled the stairs to see the dragons lips peeled back in a grimace, baring its carnivorous fangs at the thief. She came forward and let out a low growl. It was curious and calming. Had the dragon understood her wolf tongue, it would have heard words like "calm, soothing" and questions "why anger, why the theif". She imagined that the theif beside her must be horrified of both the dragon and her style of speech.  

[Zahzi]

Adrian's face went completely pale as Celtor growled at him.
He then slowly rose one hand and began patting the Dragon on the snout.
"Niiice Dragon...Gooooood giant carnivorous nightmare...."

"Once." Omazige replied simply.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

As the Thief patted his snout, Celtor growled even louder. Wanting to simply scare off Adrian, he snapped his hands at the hand that touched him, trying to get close enough just to lightly graze his hand.

After Celtor 'voiced' his anger, he looked noticed the quiet and curious girl approaching once more. To his surprise, she growled with the voice of a wolf, something he could understand as it was a voice of wild life. He replied by ending his own growl and snorting at the Thief. Insulting vermin.

At a soft cry coming from his side, Celtor immediately looked back to where he had tucked Tabari away softly. As he was beginning to retreat back to her, he could feel eyes upon him again, only this time they felt like daggers. He scanned the Nexus, noticing how the others were reacting to his threatening to the Thief. As he laid down on the ground, tucking his wing more tightly against his body, he leered down at the others who reached for their weaponry. He was well out numbered, and perhaps out matched, but Celtor was too proud to back down. He had done right, in his terms, and would simply lay down because it upset some humans.

Adrian took a step back, at the snapping, but stopped when he heard Tabari. He gave a sigh, before hearing the others around him reaching for their weapons.
"Wait, waaaaiiiiiiiiit..." he called to them, waving his hands around.
"My bad, Dragon is just defensive for its master. Nothing to stab at here!"

He knew already what this Dragon could do. These people would be toys. And it would also be more harmful to Tabari if it came to that..  

[Lady Kyoushu]

The wolf turned her head towards the ex-Templar. "Once? Does that mean that Danaerys and I will not have to rip you apart" A small smirk like lift of her lips followed the teasing remark.


Danaerys' eyes widened before giving a sharp glare to the their. She watched as he somewhat redeemed himself but edged closer to Celtor and his companion. While facing the others in the Nexus, watching their hands, she let out a soft whine to Celtor. "Companion sad. How to cheer up?"

"You wouldn't be able to, even if you wished it." Omazige replied simply.
"My armor is not just for show."
