Danny looked over at Roch, her hands still firmly on the bush pet. "Use fire? But I might just burn the minip-" She thought for a moment. "OHHHH I GET IT!!" She looked at the sucker with a smile, and then set him down on the ground. Other than running away, the creepin' shrubbery just sat there with a bored look on its face. Well at least it wasn't running away?

With that, she stuck her tail forward, inches from the bush's pretty leaves and then sent a fireball its way, while she made a creepy, mischievous face. She let out a cackle and did a stereotypical "BOO!"

The fireball dissolved into the air before it even reached the mini, or got anywhere near any of the other students, but the trick had worked. The mini was absolutely terrified, and just sat there in the creepin' shrubbery equivalent of the fedal position. Mission accomplished right? "Look Roch, I did it!!" she shouted gleefully.

Roch glanced around, figuring that Danny wouldn't have any problem. It was a BUSH after all--but...

What the jack was Xiu doing? He didn't laugh, although he was tempted to, but he jogged over to her, crouching down beside her. "Hey," he said, still holding his own bush, "where's that big tough ghoul that was learning self defense?" he teased, looking over at her with a little grin.

Xiu nearly jumped out of her skin when someone suddenly showed up beside her. When she realized that is was just Roch, the Baku relaxed...a bit. But only a bit. It was easy enough to talk to someone over an instant messenger, but in person...

Well, no need to dwell on that too much right now.

"S-self defense is one thing," She squeaked, eying the bush uncomfortably, "But...intimidation is another." Besides, taking lessons for something was not the same as trying to attempt something without any prior experience. To her knowledge, Xiu had not been able to intimidate anyone in the school thus far, so this was definitely a new challenge.

Turning back to the bush, she decided to give it another go, but quickly paled when it hissed menacingly at her again.

"Oh they sing too?" That sounded amazing. Maybe Pepin would show the lycan her mini pet one day.

It seemed in no time class had started. Mitsu diverted her attention to the front as the teacher began to explain about the day's class. Intimidation? How was she even....and the bush. It looked so angry.

When the teacher excused them to give it a try Mitsu watched warily as the other students went about picking up a bush and giving this technique a try. Well, she wasn't going to get anywhere just sitting around. Slowly Mitsu rose from her seat and edged her way toward the red creeping bushes. Before she even managed to lift it up its grumpy little face peered out at her making the lycan jump. oAo This was not starting off well.

The longer the mini stared at Mitsu the more the lycan could feel a chill running down her spine. OAO This thing had a PHD in intimidation. Those beady little eyes were boring into her soul as if to say. 'Yeah, just try it.'

Swallowing deeply Mitsu was starting to wonder if this was really going to work. She wasn't exactly the scariest creature out there.

It wasn't much longer into their staring game that the bush began to flail. Flail like mad. It could have seriously given a jack that Mitsu had a hold of it. Letting out a strange noise of protest it finally managed to break free of the lycan's hold and ran off, sneaking away to the middle of its fellow bushes to nest down again.

QAQ; In defeat Mitsu made her way back to her desk. At least it seemed Shun had the technique down. And Pepin...and a large majority of the class. So what had she learned from this adventure. Nothing really, she knew she wasn't scary.

If they got to take these things home, Roch thought, keeping a slight smile on his face as he looked at the bush hissing at Xiu, he would trade his little guy for this little jacker, then make its life a living hell until he had to turn it in again. For a second his easy grin looked downright evil as he stared down at the bush. Roch looked almost more demonic than a demon.

Then he looked at Xiu, the expression turning teasing again, as if it had never happened. "Hey, I know you can do it, Xiu. You can do anything you put your mind to. I promise," he told her.

Oh this little jacker was SO going to pay.

Hoping that the reaper was right, Xiu stared right at the bush, her mouth set in a firm line. She tried her best not to let her gaze waver, even as the creature glared right back at her. She needed to focus and do as the professor said by projecting herself to be scarier than the bush. Focus...focus...!

The Baku was careful to maintain eye contact with the mini, but for a moment--just a brief second--it seemed as if the mini's gaze flickered off to the side, and then back to Xiu. Before Xiu could dwell on this for too long, the minipet suddenly settled down, looking surprisingly docile as it pulled it's legs back into it's body.

"Did I...did I do it?" Maybe she wasn't too bad at this after all! ...Maybe.

"You did! You absolutely did!" Roch said, hugging her with one arm over her shoulders and grinning at her. "Good job," he added, quickly letting the hug fall.

He was still going to swap the little bastards the moment he got the chance, but that thought didn't show on his grinning face.

Riyo couldn't help but smirk at Levi's subtle suggestion of beating the snot out of some douchebags. Hey, not bad. The feline was starting to tolerate this ghoul. "I'll keep that in mind." And hey, she actually meant it this time!

When the bare-chested Professor started greeting the class and explaining their assignment, Riyo kept her eyes on the red bush, wide eyes doing their best to stay off the man performing the action. So they just had to intimidate the bush? Alright. Big ******** deal. Minipets didn't scare her in the least, so this would be a piece of cake.

Without hesitation, Riyo roughly grabbed the bush and threw on her rape unfriendly face.

With a screech, the shrub started flailing wildly in the feline's grip. At first, she was intent on keeping up the furious stare into the angry creatures beady little eyes... But out of the corner, she saw it.

... Man-chest. Oh God. It was just... It was right there... All sparkly in the light of the class, as if taunting her. The distraction was enough to let her guard drop, receiving a nice face-full of claws before her attention finally came back to the creature. "JACK DAMMIT!" She hissed angrily.

Fidgeting quietly at his desk as the classroom erupted around him, the quiet hunchback followed suit, helping himself to the funny little bush. Huh. Well. Intimidating small creatures wasn't that difficult, he seemed to do that on a daily basis. Lips pursed, he stared down at the thing as it poked it's head out of it's little bush, and, smiling, offered a clawed finger to try to give it a tender friendly pet.

Apparently it mistook this gesture of good will with an attempt to impale and devour, which was silly considering Christof didn't eat much of anything- but vanished back into its bush all the same.

Oh. Well. It was intimidated at least?

Oh HELL no.

This sad excuse for a shrub did NOT just scratch her face. The ghoul's eyes widened to epic proportions as she glared at the now disgustingly perceived creature, slitted pupils staring holes into the creature as she held it firmly in her grasp.

Though the creepin' shrub seemed unimpressed for the first few seconds, it's glare turned into a nervous stare, until finally seemed to want out and away from Riyo's grasp. Intimidation complete.

Even if the hound could wipe it from his sight and pretend it wasn't there. it wasn't enough. it was no surprise that Roch was already cheering and congratulating Xiu on her victory over the bush baby. Far quicker than he could.

He still wanted to be friends with them, but just..... being around the two of them, together....... it just made him feel weird. Bad weird.

"Well done Xiu." he called out from across the room. Curt and polite, that was the way to go.

Roch glanced over at the hellhound, his expression vulnerable for a brief second before his devious mind kicked in. "Hey, why don't you go talk to Demi for a second?" he asked the little baku ghoul. "Just because he probably hates me doesn't mean he feels the same about you. Well, obviously it doesn't mean the same about you."

And while she went to talk to Demi Roch could switch the bush babies, the reaper thought. His was positively tame at the moment, it'd be a good match! And Jackdammit had been moping since he gave lil b*****d back. He needed a new... playmate.
