A Thousand Years of Dreams (1x1 Starting!)

"Whats wrong Ashe? I can feel the tension in your voice, you're nervous or you are shocked, how was your visit to your friend?" He asked taking one of the glasses and taking it down quick, adding it to the other 13 glasses he had next to him.

the bartender laughed and leaned into Ashe. "ive been watering his drinks down, figured someone would need him, didnt want him dead." he said

Hyatt looked at her. "I..i think we should talk too, on a personal level." he said

Ashe simply gave a small nod to the bartender, a bit thankful for watering down Hyatt's drinks.. She looked over at Hyatt, "I wasn't visiting a friend... I was visiting my dead husband. He's buried here..." She fiddled with the ring on her finger before taking the glass of whiskey and downing the shot. "I visit him every year." She was question what Hyatt meant by 'personal level'.

Oh well im sorry for your loss...and well you know i like you and thats evident that it effects me a lot...look i know im a kid but all im asking is give me a shot. Dont tell me when just do it, and I'll do my best to be mature, thats all im asking." he said taking another drink.
"Also, i know he's been watering the drinks down but im still gonna need help getting back to the ship." he said.

Ashe glanced back down at the table "Hyatt... the man I loved died in my arms... the pain I went through I can't even explain." She picked up the second glass of whiskey. "I can't go through that again..."

Ashe looked over at Hyatt "You really like me? Prove it. Do something to make me think your worth my time. In my long life... I've met a lot of people. I can count on one hand those that have left a good impression on me." Ashe wasn't trying to be rude to Hyatt in any way, she'd always had a hard time opening up to people... She hoped he sensed that. She gestured the bartender to give her a few more whiskeys. "As for getting you back to the ship... I'm only getting started on the drinks." She downed the second glass of whiskey and moved straight on to the third and fourth. Visiting Vergil always ended up making her drink an extortionate amount, Hyatt would notice the more she drank... The more she opened up.

Hyatt watched her drink. "In good time, everything happens for a reason and i know when the time is right i'll prove it, besides, i could have tried to fight all these guys in this bar like a stupid boy would but i have self control." he said downing another watered down drink. "Dont worry, ill get you to the ship when you are done." he said blinking a few times trying to look straight.

Ashe must have downed her tenth glass of whiskey... safe to say, she may not have looked it, but she was drunk. She stood from her stool, placing some cash down on the table to pay for her drinks.. as well as Hyatt's. She knew she wasn't going to be able to walk in a straight line.

Before she could say anything, a few women walked into the bar.

"祭りは始めている！(The festival is starting!)" One woman announced, "メインイベントのいずれかを見逃したくない、急げ！(Hurry, don't want to miss any of the main events!)" The women were quick to leave and return back to the village. One woman did eye Ashe before taking her arm, "あなた！あなたはここからだように見える...しかし、私は前を見ていない。是非ご参加！(You! You look like you're from here... but I haven't seen you before. Come join us!)"

Ashe quirked an eyebrow, "ヘイ！待って！祭り？ (Hey! Wait! A festival?)"

The woman nodded, "うん！日祭！我々は、毎年それを保持...あなたが知っている必要があります。今すぐに来る...あなたは、衣装ではありませんよ！(Yeah! The Sun Festival! We hold it every year... you should know that. Now come on... you're not in costume!)"

Ashe was quickly dragged out of the bar before se could say another word... she looked back at Hyatt as she was being dragged away.

The bartender chuckled as he watched Ashe being dragged out before looking over at Hyatt, "Hey, Hyatt right? I would follow Ashe and those women. The Sun festival celebrates out community.. and well the life the Sun gives us. Ashe must have caught those women's eyes... she is very beautiful. We crown a Sun Goddess every year... Ashe may be the next one, even though she's unaware of it."

Hyatt had a confused look on his face not understanding anything they said, "I speak mandrin chinese, and 3 other languages but i dont understand that at all." he said as he heard the bartender nodding. "Yeah she is...thats why i got a thing for her, and even if she rejects me, ill keep trying." he said running off after her, it was hard, there were large crowds of people left and right moving through the streets and most in costume but mostly staring at him, he looked so different from everyone else, he felt lost, like he was chasing a dream or somethings he'd never grasp. "Ashe! Ashe!" he shouted still running after her and the other two women still determined to catch up.

"どこに行くの？ (Where are we going?)" Ashe asked, in a mild drunken haze. She was quickly dragged into a tent.

The last woman behind Ashe stopped outside of the tent as she saw Hyatt approaching, "You can't come in here... this is where the ladies change. You have to wait with everyone else in the main festival area, she'll be out soon."

Inside the tent, the woman were deciding what to do with Ashe. "我々は彼女の髪で何をすればいいの？彼女のメイクアップ？彼女は何を着るのだろうか？ (What shall we do with her hair? Her makeup? What will she wear?)"

Ashe looked a little worried at the three women in the tent with her, she has drunk too much to even escape the tent. Her eyes widened when the three dived on her. "ヘイ！待って！あなたは何をやっている！私の服を脱いでストップ！あなたは私の顔に何を入れていますか？(Hey! Wait! What are you doing! Stop taking off my clothes! What are you putting on my face?)"

Hyatt heard Ashe shouting. "What are you doing to her? You better not touch her face or hair or she's gonna go berserk." he said worried as he stepped back and waited then looked at the women standing out front of the tent. "What is this festival anyway, im not from here. And what is that language you all speak?" he asked confused.

The woman chuckled, "This is the Sun Festival. Every year we celebrate what the sun has given us. It aids in growing our crops, puts a smile on people's faces... without the sun, we would be nothing. So we praise it once a yearr in a massive festival. As for your friend.... she seems to be from here though I haven't seen her before. But looks so similar to a very famous performer from here from I would say near 900 years ago, the singer's name was Asteria Dalvina. She was well respected as a performer... but she just disappeared one day... and never came back. She just caught my eye."

Ashe felt herself finally being released from the woman. They hadn't done too much to her. They'd taken her long black hair out of it's bun and smoothed it into soft waves. Her makeup was very simple. They had put her in some sort of black playsuit, with gold detailing around the chest area. They also placed her in some black heeled shoes.

"すべて終了！今...あなたが誰かを思い出させてくれるので、私たちはあなたを取った。我々は数千年前に近く非常に才能のあるパフォーマーに恵まれました...しかし、彼女は姿を消し、戻ってきませんでした。彼女の名前はアステリアだった...あなただけの彼女のように見える。私達は私達のために実行を望んでいました...今年のフェスティバルのための娯楽として？(All finished! Now... we took you because you remind us of someone. We were blessed with a very talented performer near a millennia ago... but she disappeared and never came back. Her name was Asteria... you look just like her. We were hoping you would perform for us... as entertainment for the festival this year?)"

Ashe sighed, the performer was her... she left the small island in search of bigger things. Ashe came from a family of performers, her mother before her was a singer. "私は午前..アステリア。それは私がまだ生きている方法についての長い話です。(I am.. Asteria. It's a long story on how I'm still alive.)" The next part may have been the alcohol talking, but she had missed the stage. "私は実行されます...今回だけ (I will perform... just this once.)"

The girls were in shock to hear who she was, but they believed her and quickly escorted her out of the tent.

"Oh, and we speak Japanese here." The woman guarding tent quickly moved out the way when she could hear the women coming. "I think they're finished."

Ashe's eyes fell directly on Hyatt when she exited the tent, "Hyatt... I'm going on stage... I'll meet you after the show. All I can say is... enjoy the show..." The women were already ushering her to the main stage. Ashe still had a lot of alcohol in her system, but the adrenaline from being in stage was enough to block the drunk feeling for now.

The woman previously guarding the tent quickly guided Hyatt around the stage so he could have a good view of the show.

As Ashe stepped on stage, there was a roar of screams from the entire village waiting for her to perform. Her eyes glided over the entire crowd... she hadn't performed in such a large time... but she couldn't disappoint all these people. The girls who grabbed her already knew which song to play.

((Yeah... this song is technically in Korean. But I like singer and she looks similar to the my character lol))

Hyatt followed and listened to Ashe sing, she was amazing and he didnt understand why she didnt sing more but something seemed strange like people knew her already and were waiting for her.
"Ashe...im sorry for being weak and childish, but ill be the man you need, in due time." he said smiling watching her on stage happyly

Ashe finished the song with a round of applause, and finished with a bow. " ありがとうございま す。それは、私が適 切にホームしてきた ので、一方になって いる。私は多くの年 後にステージ上でさ れていない...と私は1 今夜上にあることを 期待していませんで した. ( Thank you. It's been as while since I've been properly home. I haven't been on a stage in many years... And I wasn't expecting to be on one tonight." Ashe looked over at the crowd, there were so many smiling faces. " 私が言うことができるすべては... ショーをお楽しみください！(All I can really say is... Enjoy the show!)"

Ashe performed a number of songs for her people, such as this one. The crowd seemed to love her. While she was performing, one of the men standing next to Hyatt leaned over toward him. "I can guarantee once she's finished there will be a line of men approaching her... Most of them with some form of a ring asking her to marry them."

"Adepto inferno a mea puella!"(get the hell away from my girl!) Hyatt shouted as he pushed through the crowd. He didnt speak the native tongue but he did speak Latin and German so he used them deeply and very vividly. He didnt want anyone to marry her, he knew she was probably still thinking about Virgil and he only wanted her to be happy until he had a chance at her and he was going to get that chance. "Geh mir aus dem Weg! Bewegen Sie jetzt bewegen!" (Get out of my way! Move move now!) He said pushing to the front of the crowd and he looked at Ashe. Ashe!" he said reaching for her.'

Or had expressed their carnal desires toward her. It was then she heard someone shouting, it was then she could see Hyatt pushing his way through the crowd. "Hyatt..?" She'd never seen him so... Determined before. When he offered her his hand, she wasn't going to refuse it with all the men not leaving her alone. She took it, simply following as he lead her off the stage. The adrenaline from the show was now wearing out, and the copious amount of alcohol she has drunk was kicking in again. . Alcohol tended to do weird an wonderful things to her. "When they were a safe distance away, she stopped... Though she was eyeing Hyatt curiously. "Hyatt... We should go back to my ship. Which is that way!" Because she was drunk, she was pointing in the complete opposite direction of where it actually was.

"Did you have fun?" he asked as he carried her, he walked through the old town and getting closer to the docks. He knew she enjoyed it but he still wanted to keep her awake for now. He knew Kitsuro would want to know what happen and still he put his hand out to her as a proposal, would she honor it even if she was drunk?
