She gave a sexy smile when he turned her around and said he always finished what he started, "Mmmm....I bet you do a great job of it too." She kissed him back with just as much passion. "Thank you...." she said as he kissed her neck. Pulling him to her when he kissed her lips. She pulled back slightly and rubbed her cheek against his and started kissing his neck and muttered so he could hear, "I'd rather sleep on the floor mattress with you then in the bed with Kirsten."

She smiled when he said she could and kissed her. "I've been cold before and never had anyway to warm myself. I'm hoping you can keep me warm." She walked over and laid down next to him on the mattress.

She kissed him back and smiled. She got closer when he put his arms around her and pulled the blanket up on them. "I look forward to it." She loved when he kissed her. "I can do silent. Remember I've been on my own, outside and have had to get out of some precarious spots by being quiet." She whispered. Smiling as he pulled her close. She felt so safe in this spot.

Kissing him back she could feel his muscles ripple with every movement. She smile and kissed him back and licked her own lips after he licked them. He was rubbing her back slowly and she started to close her eyes, falling asleep. Her eyes popped back open when she heard what sounded like a can being kicked outside. She was so tired. It had been days since she had slept, and was on the verge of exhaustion. The beating of his heart and his slow rubbing, soothed her. Her eyes fluttered closed again.

Tali felt when Jake finally fell asleep. His breathing slowed and evened out. Her eyes were closed when she heard a soft crying sound. Blinking open her eyes she looked around. Turning slightly to see Jake, he was still asleep. She knew it wouldn't be him crying anyway, thinking he was too strong for anything to make him cry. Hearing it again, she slowly and gently wiggled out from under Jake's arm, trying not to wake him. When she got out of bed she looked back to make sure she hadn't awaken him. He still looked to be sleeping. She had taken her shoes off so she tip-toed barefooted up stairs to check on Kirsten. She got to Jake's room and heard Kirsten crying. Walking in she crawled onto the bed, "Kirsten? Are you ok? Come here." Tali crawled up to Kirsten and wrapped her arms around the crying girl. "It's ok....you're not hurt." She thought she probably knew what was wrong, "I have nightmares, too. It's ok.....the whole world is a nightmare right now. We have to think about the few good things that are left." She kissed the top of Kirsten's head and put her cheek on the top of her head. "Go back to sleep, baby. I'll stay here till you go back to sleep. I'll keep watch for you."

When Kirsten finally stopped crying Tali gave a little smile. She waited till Kirsten fell asleep before she left. After Kirsten fell asleep Tali slipped back out of the bed and went down stairs. She looked around ignoring her chilly feet. Tali didn't want to lay back down with Jake because she didn't want to wake him up. So she walked toward the kitchen when she heard another sound. A very quiet one but she still heard it. She tip-toed past Jake and walked over to the wall where there was a small slit in the window. Looking out she narrowed her eyes so she could see better. There were a couple of infected walking by. She kept watching as they passed by. Her senses heightened and muscles tense.

Tali was looking out the hole when arms came around her. She jumped and started shaking, then settled down when Jake spoke, "Yes. I know but I've been face to face with them too many times and I still get frightened. But I do believe we're safe." She sighed happily as he kissed her neck. While he looked at the stars she frowned, "I didn't wake you did I? I tried to be quiet. I even kept my shoes off to not make noise." She giggled a little, "But now my feet are freezing." She gave the infected one last look and turned slowly in Jake's arms. She put her arms around his neck and smiled up at him.

"Ok, I'm glad I didn't wake you." She squeaked a little when he picked her up so easily. She quickly covered her mouth with her hand. Until now she'd never had a man treat her the way Jake has. Tali hoped it would last. When they got further in she put her hand down and smiled, then wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. After getting on the mattress, she shook her head at his question and smiled, "I can't sleep right now. Those things outside have me to jittery, but you can sleep if you want. I'll just lay her with you and try to think about something besides them, then maybe I'll be able to sleep. I promise I won't make a sound and wake you."
