"You can do what you like. I am not leaving till I have all my data all my research into the fungi and its method of infection. The infected may not be able to be saved but we may be able to make an inoculation against future infection." Isolde said to Danny as she checked the progress of the data download. She did not relish the idea of being eaten alive but she also could not bear the idea of abandoning all her work.

"I need 15 minutes to complete the transfer I already had most of it backed up." I keep it with me can't afford to lose it not after so much was lost. She added to herself. "If you guys are such great fighters, put your petty differences aside and fight together as humans. Or you can continue to fight amongst each other for dominance and the winner will die at the hand of the poor souls who were infected by the plauge." As she spoke she did not look up from her work she merely started tapping her foot anxiously. She could hear them coming and Danny had run off like some foolish would be hero. The real 'fighters' were arguing amongst themselves and she still had 12 minutes left to finish the data transfer.

"Danny" Calloway said as she grew more anxious and upset at the since the download still had 8% left to go "Is the result of too many bad holoprograms. He thinks himself a hero, he is trying to protect us. Like many he is braver than he is smart." Looking up briefly at the woman bounty hunter she asked her a simple question. "And what gave a doc at weapons tech the right to send you here?"

"Money...well then you should be friends with the SRC. That is what makes the universe go around so they say." There was still 5% left for the download. "So you have a V-TOL how many people can you take with you? Are you leaving the SRC boys here to die?" Isolde was very angry, and nervous. She did not like the idea of being taken away...to anywhere by soldier types. She figured she would end up in a ditch the only real bargaining chip she had was her research.

After some shots down the hall at the shamblers, a few going suspiciously close to Maine's side of the T-section, Kenny turns to the Isolde with a smirk. "I'm not worried about Commander Cosmos and the Bird-boy. They've got a bunch of "Dreadnaughts" coming to save them, remember?" She turns to the other Doctors. "Alright boys, head back to the sewer. Eustace and I'll keep these freaks off the doc while she nabs her porn stash." Kenny winks at Isolde before turning back to gun down a few more zeds.

The two other doctors stop at the hall they came out of. "Manus, which way is clear?" Lobb asks tentively.

"I don't have access to Dr. Callaway's route, but several of the fungal carriers have fallen down the manhole you left open."

Kenny empties the rest of her power cell down range. "Tch. Figures. Alright Cally. Get behind me. I hope Eustace can fit."

Kenny pushes ahead of Isolde and Lobb and MacMannus file in behind with the drones and Eustace bringing up the rear, the suit of powerarmor barely able to fit. "I am SO glad I sprang for the advanced pathfinding software..." Kenny mumbles to her self.

Dr Lobb leans in to Isolde. "I am terrible sorry about this. We had originally planned on staying here with you and helping to fortify the position. In fact those drones were for you, but now..." Lobb gives a sort of shrug, his voice trailing off, his regret genuine. MacMannus chimes in. "Well you'll probably be safer at the airport anyway. That place has seen better days." He points his thumb over his shoulder as he speaks the last sentence. He tries to be reassuring, but he doesn't do a very good job.

James growled. More zombies showed up. Hearing a familiar rumble and noise. The Dreadnought arrived. It was destroying the zombies. Marines cam rushing in. Killing zombies on sight.

"Sir, orders to defend the building and destroy all zombies." The marines took a standered formation. Shooting at enemies and keeping the building safe. "We have snipers in a truck a mile away."

James smiled. They would make it out alive. Growling. "We have support. Kenny get her out of here." It was crazy. But Kenny was moving by sky.

"Your disregard for life should make you fast friends with the trained monkeys of the SRC" Isolde said simply as she moved off, even if this woman was lying to her about helping the boy she knew there was realistically nothing she could do to help him herself. She simply had to do the one thing she found the hardest. Trust.
