[FIN] Calling the Shot

When her lips touched his, Yuri instinctively jerked back in surprise, not having expected that at all. However, he paused, wading through muddled thoughts.

Huh... that was nice. He couldn't remember the last time...

And before he knew it he found himself leaning back in, kissing her back as the rain poured around them.

He could taste the alcohol on her lips, the same that still lingered on his tongue.

She blinked when he drew away, and shied like a scared kitten as he paused, her eyes never leaving him.

When he leaned back in, however, and kissed her, she was quick to reciprocate, her free hand rising to his chest. However, the kiss wouldn't last long, and she drew back, her face dripping with rainwater, lit by the sky as lightening again pierced the clouds. The thunder shook the ground.

When she pulled back, Yuri ducked slightly as the unexpectedly close thunder boomed over head.

"Whoa ho" Yuri laughed, as if it were some joke.

He then grabbed Dove by the hand and proceeded to run with her through the rain. Despite the fact that they had just fallen earlier. Who cared!

Not really knowing where he was going at first, the man decided that her place would be cool. So that's where he went. Cause it made sense or something. Sure.

She laughed as he ducked, then followed after him--not that she had much of a choice, considering he had a strong hold without trying. The thunder overhead grew even louder, and the lightning flashes more intense.

She showed absolutely no surprise when they turned up at her door and quickly slid inside, looking around to wave at the few that usually attended the front, but finding no one. Mentally shrugging, she let herself fall into the elevator, now tugging Yuri along as best he would allow. "At least it's dryyyy heerrreeeee..."

There was no resistance as Dove pulled him into the elevator. Instead he was looking at the wet trail they had left behind when entering the building. The both of them sopping wet and dripping, but oh well!

"Pffft yeah, its wet out there. We're wet too," stated Mr. Obvious.

Yuri though had to lean against the side of the elevator as they went up, unable to keep himself upright for very long. It was a small wonder he'd managed to run here without falling over again.

Once the door opened again, he stumbled a bit as he went out, tugging her along with him again. However, he was clearly confused as to where to go. Not remembering where her apartment was.

Dove fell out of the elevator behind him, grinning from ear to ear as he attempted to find her apartment. "You silly boy, it's the only one on this floor!" she told him, tugging him toward her front door, then proceeding to fumble through her bag for her key. Once it was finally located, she let herself in, and immediately shook out her hair, dropping her bag unceremoniously to the floor before standing there and blinking at the water that now dripped from her clothing.

"Oh... yeah I knew that," Yuri said as he was again tugged towards the only door up there apparently.

Once they were in her apartment, he looked around, having not been here in awhile. Reaching behind his head he pulled out the band that held up his ponytail and let his wet hair fall.

"Pffft you're making a puddle," he said, not taking into account that he was too.

She giggled, and gathered her hair--now soaked through and holding none of the curl it had earlier-- over her shoulder before tugging the thin material of her floaty-when-not-wet tank top away from her tummy and watching it cling as she dropped it again. With more giggles.

At his comment, she beamed. " 'm the prettiest water type you'll ever meet!" she informed him lightly, tossing her wet hair over her shoulder again.

"Can't really argue with that," Yuri agreed, snorting lightly as she played with her shirt.

"Need towels... or something..." he said looking around again and spying a roll of paper towels. That would work.

Taking the entire roll off the holder he paused a moment before ripping off a bunch of towels and dropping them on the floor where the water was pooling. He then dropped the whole roll. What the hell, it would probably take the whole thing anyway.

She smiled as he agreed, and watched as he threw an entire of paper towels into the floor. ".....towels. I have those!" she proclaimed, heading further into the house and into the guest room closest to them to grab a few towels--and knock the rest into the floor on accident.

With a soft, "Oops!" she made her way back to him, only tripping a little on the carpet as she returned. "One for yooooou," she sing-songed, tossing one over his head, "and one for me!" The other was pulled over her own head as she drew the ends of it together, over her hands, up to hide half of her face, her eyes blinking hugely at him as she giggled.

While Dove was gone getting towels, Yuri took off his boots and turned them upside down to let some more water out onto the floor.

... Oh wait that just made more of a mess. Oops. He then took his foot and pushed the paper towel roll around with it to "mop" up the water. There.

A towel was then thrown over his head, obstructing his vision. "H-hey!" Stumbling a little, he straightened up and pulled a corner of the towel up to see out. He laughed with her when he saw a towel draped over her head as well.

Her nose scrunched as always when she giggled, and she continued to peek out at him. "Better?" she asked, forcing her own shoes off and tripping a little.

She caught herself against the wall, still giggling until her face paled, her brows furrowing.

"Yeah," Yuri agreed and rubbed the towel through his hair a bit before he saw her stumble.

"Whoa!" he said, stumbling towards her and nearly falling on her himself as he tried to help her. That's when he noticed her go pale with a strange look on her face.

"Heeeey... what's with the face?"

She shook her head, covering her mouth, looking a little scared and positively like she was about to be sick. " 'dun feel good now..." she mumbled, the sound muffle by her hand, before suddenly, she took off stumbling through the apartment, falling into the bathroom and just barely missing the toilet. Forcing herself to hold back a second lurch, she moved to the bowl, whining softly.

"Uh oh..."

In the back of Yuri's alcohol hazed mind he knew what that meant. As she hurried off, staggering through the apartment, he followed. The man cringing slightly as she began hurling into the commode, and didn't quite make it on the first go.

Coming up behind her though, Yuri stooped down next to Dove and extended the same courtesy to her as Ray had to him the last time he'd been that drunk. With one hand he pulled back her hair to keep it out of the way, and rubbed her back with the other.
