[RAID] Attack on Rocket

The ride was indeed bumpy as Petra had warned, and though she was content to watch for a few moments, Alder was calling for fast pokemon, and her hand immediately shot to her belt to follow him as he loosed the Bouffalant once more.

Two balls were plucked from her belt, and for a second or two she just looked at them, her heart sinking. They could do this without her there... Aurora had just learned to listen to her anyway. Pressing them to her lips a split second in a silent, almost parting and a wish for their safety, she released both Thierry and Aurora, calling to them as they ran alongside the van in stride, Aurora blinking, confused that her trainer would have her out so soon after calling her back, but more than ready for the run. Thierry tossed his mane, his eyes following the pokemon in front of them already. "Follow the rest and stop them before they get away! Help the others and stick together!"

At the command, both nodded and burst out through the sands, disappearing in the haze

Dith checked his belt (and peered around to make sure everyone else was doing so too, because he was a mother hen) and then reached for Dolly's pokeball, aiming it out of the window Alder had opened. The huge muscular Rapidash appeared as the beam of light faded and blinked in bemusement. Spotting the van moving away from her she sprung into an earth shaking canter, catching up in barely a few strides.

"Dolly!" Dith called over the noise. "We need to catch that car! Zla I want you with her!"

The powerful fire type snorted smoke in acknowledgement and as soon as she felt the chill of Zla hanging on around her neck she took off after Alder's Bouffalant at full gallop. Slow she might be for a Rapidash but she still made a blistering pace across the rough terrain, soon leaving the van with her trainer in it behind.

A car chase, how exciting!

Andre settled Velencia on the floor near his feet as he unclipped his darkball from the hostler. It was a bit of a risk, Fraener had a will of his own, but he was fast. He tore the door open, taking care to hold onto the handle so he wouldn't fall out. The dark Charizard erupted from the pokeball with a deafening roar and took off into the air. "Fraener, stop the car ahead of us!" He shouted over the commotion going on around them. The dragon pokemon swooped down over the van, letting out another roar before racing forward after the sleek, black car. At least he seemed to be listening...for now. His large wings stirred the sand beneath him as he rocketed forward. Surely it would be a terrifying sight to see the dark Charizard closing in on you.

The water-loving trainer yelped as the started violently crossing the wild desert terrain, trying to get a view of the outside to distract her from her slightly upset stomach. Well, at least she didn't have to worry about keeping awake now. Alder's orders didn't seem to apply to her given her current pokemon, so she just held on tight and did her best to keep out of the others' way.

Noticing a young man maybe twice her age cowering away from the window, Tymiko blinked and pat his arm. "It's okay," she said. "We'll be fine."

She almost retracted her words, however, when the sight of a herd of fleet-footed fire-types were released from the van. She wasn't all that fond of fire, on pokemon or on its own.

Unhappily concluding that getting squished underfoot was not as interesting as she thought it might have been, the blue translucent blob oozed its way toward the nearest car door as people began calling out their pokemon. She knew she would have to keep up if she was going to run but she also didn't want to stand out. Choosing the most common of the pokemon running alongside the van, Aquamarine lept out of the van and hit the desert sand with the hooves of a Rapidash.

Moriko was... kind of fast right? Lin released her as soon as he could aim through the window.
"Keep up with the herd and chase that van down!" Well. She clearly wasn't as fast as a few of the others, and this was not her kind of terrain, but every little helped and Lin wanted to be involved.

He stared out of the window, not caring about the bumpy ride, leaning forward and slightly wishing he'd sent himself out onto Moriko's back, as the herd of pokémon looked like they'd get to engage the vehicle sooner.
"C'mon..."

Jeeves gripped his shoulder, slightly in reassurance, slightly purely for balance.

As the van bounced along the uneven terrain, Sera did her best to hold onto the seat with one hand, though when the instruction came to let out a pokemon, she somehow managed to pull a ball from her left side and aimed it out the open door before pressing the release.

Luna appeared in a flash of light, but she didn't need any word from Sera to know she had to follow and aid the pokemon ahead of her. With a snort, the Rapidash lengthened her strides and streaked towards the others with a blinding speed her species naturally possessed, her dark mane and tail similarly lengthening and rippling out behind her.

Fast pokemon, that was an easy choice to the girl, and it was to her luck that the two she would call out actually worked as a fantastic team!

Pastin hit the desert Running, keeping stride with the vehicle until he was fully formed, a bellow of neighing ignited his main, and with a power that Rosie knew she would never be able to stay on in riding the Rapidash peeled away from the Van in a burst of brown flame.

Perdy kept up easily with the land horse, pink and white feathers peeling in closer to his body as he over took the Rapidash in chase of the black vehicle. though always staying within a comfortable distance form his partner.

Vince flinched slightly and glanced at a young girl as she patted him, his thoughts interrupted by her touch. At her words, he made a sort of nod in her direction as if acknowledging her attempt at comforting him but then returned to look out the van. He looked on as poke'mon started being called out of the vehicle to chase down the car. Rapidash, Pidgeot, Charizard. All the different types being sent out one after another, it truly was a sight to see. WIthout realizing it, Vince had found himself leaning further out towards the door now to get a better look at the Pokemon and the progress toward the car, hoping they'd catch it soon so that things would calm down and the ride would become less hectic and bumpy.

Get the car stopped; that was a simple enough goal, though Luke worried immensely over what would follow once they had accomplished that. The order issued, he pulled a pokeball into his hand and directed its release through the opened door, calling an order as the occupant took on a physical form, "Tartarus, use your Rock Polish! Get ahead of us and stop that car!"

The words were fading to the Aggron, who was quickly left behind by the speeding van, but he at least heard enough to know to pursue. His embellished armor glimmered in the desert sunlight, and with a terrible speed, the large pokemon suddenly tore past the trainers' vehicle in pursuit of their goal. As he approached it, he made swiping grabs for the bumper, aiming to take hold.

Petra, for her part, rolled down the driver side window and released a pokemon of her own to pursue: a Dragonite that, with a word of command from his trainer, took off after the vehicle in an ExtremeSpeed, his intent to grasp at the black van's roof.

Andre took a moment to be grateful that he hadn't taken off his goggles, it would certainly be hard to keep his eyes open with all of this wind. He glanced back into the van to see a man with dark hair leaning to look out the door. He grinned, a true smile that showed just how excited he truly was. "It's exhilarating to see them all, isn't it?" He asked over the noise. He motioned with the hand currently not clutching the handle towards the door. "You can come closer, if you'd like a better look." He offered with a slight smirk.

Ahead of them, Fraener released another roar as he closed in on the car. Stop the car...burn the car to a crisp...it was all one in the same to him. The dragon used Air Slash, creating long slashes along the car's side. Though he let out an enraged roar when the car did not slow.

Alder's Bouffalant wasn't as fast as some of the other pokemon, though he could still keep pace with most, and he managed to catch up and aimed to help Tartarus by trying to dig his horns underneath the bumper to further lift it from the ground.


Luna continued her pace, though she whinnied at Pastin nearby before tearing across the sands towards the vehicle, and aimed a Megahorn at one of the tires.

With a final burst of speed Dolly came level with the target car and aimed a Flame Wheel just past Alder's Bouffalant, aiming at the car's underside.

Zla meanwhile drifted invisibly inside the vehicle, biding his time for now while his allies attacked.

Thierry and Aurora stayed close until the arcanine nodded to him, sending him off with Pastin and Luna while she bolted and leapt at just the right moment, attempting to land atop the van, massive claws out and ready to tear through the metal.

Thierry watched Luna attack the tires, startled at her show of power, then darted ahead to circle the vehicle, aiming for the windshield with a practiced fireblast.

Tymiko swatted Andre and scolded, "Don't be so mean! Just because you're enjoying yourself doesn't mean all of us are."

Meanwhile, Aquamarine kept her pace steady among the other Rapidash, doing her best to keep in line with them but unused to the exhilarating speed. She was hardly even aware why they were running, but running they were. She shyly avoided attempting to communicate with the others, but their presence made her feel happy nonetheless.
