James
James considered speaking a bit more before his train of thought was interrupted by the sound of Pendleton's voice. A slight smile crossed James's face as he turned to look at the old demon hunter. "Well, this isn't exactly the apocalypse, but it very well could become one if we don't take out Maximilian. And I suppose there isn't much more reason for you all to be here, so you may leave soon, after I complete this briefing."
Another voice, the voice of Morris this time, piped up about James and his feelings towards Camus. James rubbed his temples slightly at the whole ordeal. "Unfortunately, Camus is always excited. And you would be correct in assuming that this will be one of his first hands on assignments, though I assure you he is quite capable of himself. Despite his personality flaws."
Camus
Camus stuck out his tongue at the Grand Chancellor, but he quickly retracted as he noticed James turn his gaze ever so slightly to Camus. James was still very angry at Camus for the bit of 'trivia' he spouted, but Camus was too energetic to really get the insult behind what he had said. It wasn't intended to insult James, but it had.
James sighed slightly from Camus's antics again, but turned back to everyone as he heard Tessa speak. He nodded slightly in contemplation of what she had said. "I can give you some limited access for the time being, but unfortunately you don't have the time right now to be sitting in an office sifting through papers. I can get you any relevant information via a number of spies and informants." James paused as he looked to Camus again.
"Part of Camus's duties includes keeping in regular communication with me, so he will immediately inform me to anything you need or anything you have accomplished. As for me, I will get you all what you need as quickly as is possible." James turned his attention to Tessa more specifically now. "As for all information that is not relevant to the mission Ms. Lozi, you may have access to it when it seems appropriate. I simply cannot put your request ahead of the Empire and the safety of its people. But I assure you, you will have access to whatever is needed for the mission, and later we will work on getting you whatever information is not related to the mission."
Clearing his throat once more and taking a last look around the room, James prepared to say his last few words. "The train you will be catching is the twelve o'clock from Arelate. It's a luxury passenger train and will be here..." James checked a grand father clock at the side of the room. "Ah, in about a half an hour. Don't worry about taking the train though, you're just getting what is on it. And it would be best to let Camus deal with it, he'll know what you're getting."
James smiled slightly as if he was keeping some sort of joke to himself, but it wasn't anything to be concerned over. Well, not terribly concerned at least. If anybody wondered what it was, they would probably find out later. Of course, Camus wouldn't be too pleased one way or another. James looked back to everyone again. "I suspect you'll be spending a little time in Durelieus before leaving, I hope you don't mind. Please enjoy the city as much as you can before leaving. I know the smoke and steam aren't something many of you are fond of, but it still has many beautiful parts. Afterwards, I suspect you will find your way to your next target, but you'll all be able to discuss this very soon."
James looked to Camus and gave a slight nod. "Now if you will all excuse me, I have.... Matters to attend to, Camus will lead you all to where you need to be." James smiled at them all, somewhat sarcastic, but also somewhat genuinely before giving them a slight nod, or perhaps even a bow.
Camus smiled as he practically bounced over to Jack first, whipping out a key and unlocking his shackles quickly. He then made his way over to Pendleton as well and unlocked his shackles. Camus beamed at everyone as he got ready to speak. "Alrighty everyone! Please follow me if you will! Anyone who had their weapons removed will have them returned once we are at the outside palace gates." He ran to the back of the room and opened the doors for everyone, letting them all go through ahead of him.
Jack
Jack smiled slightly as his shackles came off, but his mind was still concerned with the idea of what was to come next. Everything was moving so quickly, too quickly for a gangster like him. He certainly wasn't as old as some of the other people here, like Pendleton, but he sure felt like he was. Jack stretched out and cracked his knuckles, and then his back as he began to follow Camus, but keeping near the back of the crowd. He looked back at James, who still had his eyes on everyone. James seemed to be reading each and every one of them simultaneously. Jack gave a slight nod to James, and James returned with one of his own. At this point in time, Jack felt practically invincible, albeit horribly vulnerable. He had the support of the most powerful man in the world right now, but that also meant he had the enemies of that man too now. Jack kept quite as he followed everyone.

(OOC: Alrighty folks! Time to get moving! Please post your final responses to the portion of us being in the room, and please allow your characters to make their ways to the front gates of the Palace. Don't worry about your transportation either, it will all be taken care of in one way or another. The Palace has many servants, and even still you can still pay a visit to the Palace to pick up your transport before we leave to the next area. The train station is within a reasonable walking distance, about 15 mins to a half hour walk, not much more than that. And it's easier to walk there to be honest, so Camus is going to be acting as your 'guide' as he helps you get to the train station. I await your replies as patiently as I can, but understand that I am pretty much jumping out of my seat in excitement right now. blaugh )
