Yumi would turn his head towards Michael, " No Michael. There is nothing more. You are dismissed." Yumi responded softly as the rest of the Genin, seemingly renewed in their motives, would disperse from the office. He'd look at Kagirinari placing his hands in his pockets and sighing, "So... Where were we about this concerning situation."
Shikayumi made her way into the Hokage's Office once again ready to receive her position in the village. Being one of the most estuite members of the Nara clan was bound to grant her a solid position on a squad, or a good mission at the least. She saw Yumi Uchiha, a respected member of the village standing before the Hokages' desk. "Yami sensei, is this a bad time."
Yumi looked up to see one of the Nara Clan members. He blinked a bit to the mispronunciation of his name, but didn't weigh it down upon the youth too hard; he was, after all, not her personal sensei. "Is there something the matter?" Yumi inquired.
Shikayumi closed the door behind her; clearing her voice of jittery nerves. "rumors are stating that their are shinobi exams coming up in the near future and I was wondering if you could show me a thing or two?" shikayumi knew that her own clan Justus weren't going to be enough to carry her through the exams. She would have to learn some more fundamentals to survive.
Yumi had heard that which Shikayumi was speaking about. He personally was joining it after receiving the registration form but there was something that bothered him. Or rather concerned him, given who was roaming the shinobi world. "Hmmm, I guess I can teach you a couple of things. How about your Taijutsu? How proficient do you feel about it?" Yumi asked, as there is nothing better than getting right up in the face of your opponent and permanently breaking their bones.
Shikayumi pondered a bit about Yumi Sensei's question. "Well, alot of my fighting style revolves around my clan's techchnique. So most of the time I try to avoid up close confrontations." Shikayumi thought hard about how she could utilize Yumi Sensei's vast knowledge, and apply it to her own technique. "Yumi Sensei? Could you teach me to defend against Taijutsu?"
To Shikayumi's inquiry about defending Taijutsu Yumi leaned against the desk some, "To be honest, defending from Taijutsu is not easy. Unlike Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, our weaponry is our bodies. We are usually faster than most of them with access of abilities that can make us even faster. To close in distance to long range or mid-range jutsu users. To efficiently combat Taijutsu is to know Taijutsu. Even just enough, to dodge or defend against your opponent long enough to find an opening." Yumi responded softly, "Why not mix your Clan style with Taijutsu? With such an unorthodox style combination, it could set your opponent into confusion of what to do to combat it. Think outside of the box, if you are wanting to win."

The guard escorted the man straight to the Hokage office. Where upon scaling the stairs to the door would he find the Hokage in fact gone; but at the very least, their village Sannin was there holding the mantle for the time being. He saw that a youth ws there waiting to be let in, and he could only assume, gain an official privileged to start training. There was another that Yumi was speaking to but h felt that the sooner his situation could be handled the sooner he could return back to guarding the gate. "Yumi-san. We have a individual who is wishing to gain entry into the village as an official shinobi." He announced taking a step back to allow Gabriel to be seen to Yumi.
As they ambulated in utter silence, Gabe absorbed the surreal aura of the village. Oddly peaceful, a little too peaceful. Following close behind, the youngin' stared at a white stain that had obviously gone unnoticed on the guard's outer piece of clothing. For a moment, he thought he'd actually reveal this unorthodox speck but decided a few giggles could hold him over on the way there. Finally, they'd found someone who could finish this tedious process, finally. With both arms spread wide, the light voice would boom into the room,"Hey wessup Yumi.....err San. Or would you rather me call you Hokage", an extremely brief pause was offered between his last statement and the next," Hokage it is! So yea....I was thinking I'd start off as head of the Anbu. Where do I get my mask?", the ramble continued in the background. Gabriel let his arms slack to his sides as he shifted his weight into a more comfortable position.
Yumi would look up from Shikayumi as he waited for her response to his answer about her problem in Taijutsu, and put his eyes upon another person that appeared at the office door. He would kindly beckon her in, not minding in assisting multiple people, but it wasn't too long did yet another person appear. Ah, the life of a Kage. How in the world Kagirinari does it, he will never know. Yumi was curious how he was even going to leave the village to do his own test to further his reonwn, if he can barely take a step out of the office without the village going to mayhem.
Yum's hazel eyes looked from the female to a platinum blonde male that came to the Hokage door with one of the gate guards. "No...I am not the Hokage... Simply filling in the position." Yumi responded to the notion of him being a village leader, "But to assist you with this situation at hand... I admittedly do not know you enough to have you hail under the banner of my village. What was your birthplace? And why have you chosen Konoha as a prospective home? Furthermore, what village banner have you once hailed from?" Yumi would need know about this individual before welcoming him in with open arms.
This entire process was beginning to frustrate Gabriel, seeing as he was easily frustrated and/or irritated. After listening to the Sannin speak his part, Gabe wanted to face palm himself again but refrained from such a brash mental action."Ok, I just told your...oh so fine guard here", he motioned towards the guard,"I was born HERE. I lived outside of the village up until now. So the only banner I'm rockin' is the royal Gabriel Heiland's banner." Hmm, the royal had a little ring to it. The newcomer rocked back and forth on the ball of his feet and widened his eyes. A few comical faces were made; Gabriel did this without taking notice. It was evidence of his boredom, this was undoubtably one of those crucial moments.
Yumi personally didn't mind taking his time in learning of this individual. Nowadays, you cannot simply just let a person into your village. Gabriel should be lucky that it was Yumi to meet him and not Kagirinari; she would have had him killed; for anyone who was of the village would have been documented in the Academy registry and could then gain a headband. To come from the outside in, is suspicious. Contemplating all of this, Yumi would think deeply about letting this individual roam his village. How strong was he? Was he truly a citizen of the Fire Country? What are the positives and negatives of letting him into the village and becoming a Konoha shinobi? Unfortunately, for now, Yumi was the only one in the village given that all of the lesser shinobi have went onto their exams. Thinking through options, Yumi cam to one conclusion that would answer at the very least most of his questions. He needed to speak to the woman anyway to assist him in an issue, and he has heard about her abilities through the grapevine in the village. "If you are wanting to gain entry in my village I will permit it. But trust has to be made. An evaluation, if you will." Yumi said softly, as he wrote a letter asking Nayley Dragconic to come to the Hokage office, "This evaluation will be made by one of Konoha's own. Just to... answer questions that I may have of you before I can give you official status." He would fold up the letter he wrote and place it into a small messenger scroll. He would then attach that scroll onto the foot of the Hokage messenger bird and sent it out to find it's intended target.
"Cmmmooonnnn don't I look harmless? I'll miss the exams at this rate....", The child was rolling his eyes again. Gabriel imagined a ship that was sailing, he'd never catch it at this speed.
Yumi listened to the complaint of Gaberiel. Smirking a little, before turning around and heading to the Kage desk. He'd shuffle through a couple of drawers before pulling out a cloth that resembled normal village headbands, but the metal plating with the village's insignia wouldn't be stitched onto the one shown to him. "This, is what we give to Academy Students. It resembles, promise, of their striving to become a full fledged shinobi of the village. I'll be up front... I don't trust you yet. Most of our shinobi, have trained within our village walls. For someone outside in, I have worries about my people and my shinobi." Yumi would hold out the cloth to Gabriel, "If you take this, you are embarking on the road to earn my trust and becoming a shinobi of my village." Should Gabriel take it, was on him. If he were to know what Konoha has gone through in the past, he would understand Yumi's caution. But if he can obtain Yumi's trust, fully, he'd have a loyal comrade to the end.
"Coincidentally, I was intending on seeing the exams myself. I shall be watching your combat, intellect and decision making, and your team work skills. I think it would be a wondrous test for you. Now," Yumi said as he'd form a string of seals and upon coming to the last one he mentally thought while expelling the chakra, "Katon:Nenshou Bushin...". With the fusion of his katon elemental chakra and the drastically increased temperature in the room, it would focus to the area beside Yumi before out of a burst of flames would arise a clone. "Now if you like, I can transport you to your exam. I wish you the best of luck, and my support." Yumi said, outstretching his fist to bump up with Gabriel's should he respond to it, before gesturing to his clone as if indicated that it will be the method of transport for him.
