None of the portals he kept reaching into were relevant, unfortunately. Either too dry or too cold, neither of which was right.

Ignatius reached in and found the pleasant atmosphere of a forest. Aha. There it was! Finally, Ignatius decided to actually join Brenley.

Ignatius closed his eyes and focused hard, gathering electricity in both hands before shoving them together and blasting it out. While it pushed him back a bit, Ignatius was overall pleased to find that hit looked much more effective.

Bren moved away for a time, enchanting a small rock bomb that he brought back and tossed in the thing's face. He smiled as it exploded, happy that it was gone without much effort but dreading the incoming spiderwebs.

Now that was more like the duo Ignatius knew. He whooped when the vine monster went down so easily.
"Alright, let's go to those toadstools!" Ignatius ran through the next area like the wind, having a clear idea of where to go by now.
