[Dith - Physical course, obstacle three]

An enthusiastic Honchkrow alighted on the grass nearby, and after a gleeful squawk at Dith it flapped its wings to whip up a rush of wind at him... Too bad it didn't take into account its diminutive size compared to his; the gust would do little to the only-slightly-taller-than-average trainer.

[Henrietta - Physical Course, Obstacle Five]

"WHA?! OH MAN! That feels so good!" Henrietta paused to enjoy the spray of water that washed some of the itchy mud, and the sweat from exerting herself on the course, from her. Like a refreshing cool shower.

She waited until the spray was done then climbed to the top, turned, and put her thumb up at the Vaporeon.
"MAN! THAT WAS SO GOOD! Totally refreshing! Thanks!"

And then it was just a few steps to the ground.

And then a last sprint across toward the final obstacle.

"OH WOW! COOL! THIS LOOKS AWESOME!" Henrietta declared, bouncing on the balls of her feet. "It's like that TV show! Aw, man! I can totally do this!"

She surged forward, aiming to climb and duck, determined to maneuver herself through this last, very fun, looking obstacle.

[Kat Bel, Ralts - Obstacle 4 - What to do Now?]

Kat sighed and flopped down next to the Ralts. "So what do you think we should do know, little man? Think we can bribe them?" She asked, reaching into the bra pocket to pull out what she had in there. Money, credit cards, phone... hun.

"Why the heck did I shove tick-tacs in this?" She questioned and opened it, offering one to the Ralts. "Cherry-Cola and hu... Think we can bribe the guards with sort of candy?"

Ralts popped one in their mouth, sucking.

"Guess we can try!" Kat stuffed the items back into her bra, scooped up the Ralts and sauntered up. "Candy to get passed you?"

Right as she ducked to crawl under a panel, the floorboard beneath her disappeared as a Henrietta-sized trap door swung open.

Oh no, you fell! Start over!

[Kat Bel, Ralts - Obstacle 4 - What to do Now?]

Unlike the last two attempts, the Gallade perked up at the offer of candy and even held its hands out for some. Once acquired it popped them into its mouth all at once with a gleeful expression on its face, and with the other hand it waved them passed.

Your plan worked! Continue!

[Henrietta - Physical Course, Obstacle Five]

It seemed to be going well, and Henrietta was focused on the wall. Thus she was extremely surprised when the danger came from beneath her and she was 'swallowed up' by the trap door.

"WHOA!" She had just enough time to yell as she disappeared by whim of gravity, out of sight for a few moments. Her giggling floated up through the trapdoor above her though, followed by;
"THAT WAS AWESOME! That's such a sneaky trap!" Her enthusiasm continued to resist being dampened, even if Henrietta herself was still rather wet from the various obstacles so far.

She crawled out, returning to the start of the obstacle and rubbed her hands together, taking on a fighting pose and boxing the air for a second, as though she was about to go and enter a prize fight, with a big grin on her face.
"ALL RIGHT! Totally gonna do it this time!"

Again, she surged forward, barely thinking about her route as she started climbing over things.

[Taavi - Physical course, Obstacle four]

Blargh! Mmmmh, nope, he wasn't going to manage to get up under this downpour. Taavi let go of the rope and landed with a thump spluttering and wiping water from his face. "Maybe I should have worn my flying goggles!" he laughed as he grabbed a different rope and tried again.

[Dith - Physical course, obstacle four]

And then sometimes being huge did have its advantages. Dith grinned at the Honchkrow as he stepped down from the balance beam. "Good try, but no dice!" he said with a wave as he headed to the next obstacle that turned out to be a small wall set at a steep angle with knotted ropes handing down from it. Shrugging internally Dith stepped onto one of the thick knots, reached up to grasp the top of the wall, and then tried to haul himself up and over the top.

[Kat Bel & Ralts - On the home stretch / Obstacle 5]

"Whoop, see that Hirro? We are on the home stretch," Kat said to the Ralts snug in her arms. "mm, now what is this coming up?" She looked it over and giggled slightly. "Bad guys and their toys. Sometimes I wonder why they have to make a field of lava or doomsday weapon, don't you?" She asked and looked over the steeds offered.

"Which one do you think?" She asked the Ralts and nodded, approaching the arcanine that was pointed out. "This one? Hello, can we trouble you for a ride?" She asked and slung aboard, shifting slightly to get a grip of the warm pokemon with her thighs and keep a hold of the Ralts. "Whoop! lets get out of here."

She laughed as they went forward.

As Hen progressed through the obstacle, one of the side doors swung open to reveal a chipper Wartortle. It grinned at the trainer gleefully before dousing her with a sudden blast of water.

Oh no, you fell! Start over!

[Taavi - Physical course, Obstacle four]

This time a Vaporeon darted over, not to the bottom of the obstacle but the top. It peered down at Taavi with a mischievous expression on its face before it shot a burst of water at him. As the water cascaded down over the wall and the trainer, it would be difficult but definitely not impossible to overcome and continue.

As Dith tried to forgo using the rope altogether, the nearby Feraligatr frowned as it grumped and plodded over, then aimed its messy onslaught of rushing water at the Russian to hinder his attempt.

Oh no, you fell! Start over!

[Taavi, physical course - obstacle five]

This looked like the home straight! It also looked... interesting. Trap doors hu? Taavi stood on the platform and nibbled his lower lip, trying to pick out if there was some clever hidden way to tackle this obstacle. If there was he couldn't see it right away and so, in the interests of not holding anyone else up, he started to pick his way across, stepping carefully over the first barrier and then moving to crawl under the next.

[Kat Bel & Ralts - On the home stretch / Obstacle 5]

The Arcanine loped across the field of 'lava' with ease, and as it neared the end it appeared that Kat would finish the last obstacle without incident. ...until, that is, a Ninetales jumped in front of the larger fire-type who had to skid to a stop to avoid ramming into it. Once it stopped, the Arcanine flopped over in the grass - carefully, of course, so it wouldn't hurt its rider - with a 'bwurf' of dismay.

Oh no, you've been captured! Start over!

[Henrietta - Physical Course, Obstacle Five]

And under and over and... ! Trap door!

Henrietta blinked, then grinned as the pokémon appeared.
"OH COOL! ANOTHER WARTO-BLARRGHGBLUB!" She declared excitedly, even as she was being, yet again, doused by a water type, and falling from the obstacle.
She rose, sodden and laughing uproariously, trudging back to the start of the obstacle, but more than a little soaked now. Her clothes felt heavy, but decency meant (and luckily she was sensible enough to realize this) that removing her shorts or t-shirt would not do. Still, her sodden jacket, and waterlogged shoes and socks were peeled off immediately, and left off to the side, away from the obstacles, on the grass, to be retrieved once she'd finished the course.
Feeling a lot lighter, she jogged on the spot, grinning and pretended to 'box' the air again.
"This one's super tough but we can totally do it!" She called to Taavi, enthusiastically, seeing him nearby, before launching herself, once more, at the final obstacle.
