XD She can be asexual like me. 3nodding We'll start a cult of rabid asexual YUU*GI*OU fans that will slowly but surely take over the world. My friends tease me about being asexual since I've never been in a relationship and I'm like... kind of old now. Not old old, but you'd think I would have gotten a boyfriend by now.

Well, If we ever have another dispute between changing the guild name I guess the poll will be between the Rabid asexual ygo guild, and the lazy procrastinators who occasionally watch anime guild.
Perhaps we could combine them! surprised

How about the Rabid Asexual Procrastinators Who Occasionally Watch YUU*GI*OU Guild? :O And of course you can all join! XD The more the merrier I always say! Heh, I've never had a boyfriend or girlfriend either, but that's because I choose to. Don't want a relationship.

It's not that I'm terribly against wasting my time dating, I just find anybody who takes an interest in me to never match up tp my impossibly high standards. =( You know, I have a buddy who keeps wanting to start a guild, but can't decide what it should be for. I'll pitch the "Rabid Asexual Procrastinators Who Occasionally Watch YUU*GI*OU Guild" idea to him since he wants it to be a one-of-a-kind guild that you won't find anywhere else on gaia.

My sister hates it with a passion and has all her dorky little friend make fun of it in front of me. Then again, I'd be called a loser then run around in the slutty clothes they do.
My dad hasn't a clue about it, but tells me to get a life all the same, but in a teasing manner. He seems to think anything I watch is weird...and he always refers to it as Yu-Gee-Oh! to make mad....damn him....
And my mum seems to have understand and doesn't mind me watching it, although she thinks the cards are a waste of money....
She actually understands the basic plot, and has watched bits and pieces of episodes with me...the ladt one see saw was the end of Mechanical Mayhem part one and asked me a few days later: "Oh, did that Serenity girl ever stop crying?" xd

Haha wow your family sounds like mine. Except I have a brother who makes fun of me. My dad also calls it Yu-gee-oh, and my mom had watched multiple times with me. She commented about Serenity as well. Something like, "Oh? When did Serenity stop being blind!?" XD; And she also said Bakura was 'sexy.' Although I think she was making fun of me on that part.
And walls of text are great! XD; I do them all the time. O__o;;

My parents don't mind it so much, they just kinda know I like it. My sister, on the other hand, thinks that it is too babyish for a high schooler to be watching. stressed

Yea, I think a lot of older Yuugiou fans get that. I mean, hell I'm in college and I have a Yuugiou pillow on my bed. (It goes on top of an Inu-yasha blanket) Oh well, I don't think those things make somebody a baby or immature. People just don't understand it, so they decide to bash it.
AND FOR THAT THEY GO TO THE SHADOW REALM!!! >=D
*sigh* No, not really but that'd be cool, right?

XD;; Wow, that sucks for those of you who get made fun of a lot... I do at school sometimes, but not much at home...
My mom knows I like YUU*GI*OU and she supports it, even though she doesn't really care for it. But if she finds a YUU*GI*OU greeting card at work or something (she works for American Greetings) she'll get it for me to hang in my room. ^^ She and my dad direct a program where we give clothes and stuff to the homeless down town once in a while, and she found a YUU*GI*OU blanket that someone had donated for that, so she let me trade one of my blankets for it. ^^
As for my dad, he pretends to not care about it, but I see him watching it with me sometimes... ninja once in a while he'll even ask questions about it. I remember once I was watching the Jounouchi VS Malik episode, and people kept saying "Mariku!" (Japanese accent) and my dad was all, "Are they saying Mike? o.o" (his name is Mike)
My sister tried to get into YUU*GI*OU but she didn't like the dueling, so only really like the first seven manga. She stopped reading around there.
My brother makes fun of me a lot for liking it (playfully) but I used to lend him the DVDs and he would watch them. He stopped having time to watch 'em though so I stopped lending them, but he did think it was okay in Japanese. (he mostly makes fun of the dub)
My other three sisters know I like it but they don't really care. They're just kind of like "whatever."
Most of my friends like YUU*GI*OU, and the few who don't will sometimes playfully make fun of me, but are pretty much accepting.

I'm in uni too, and I'm still a fan. And the situation hasn't really changed since I last posted in this thread - widespread indifference. At least, I think that's what I posted anyway.
I thought Mariku sounded like Mike too. I thought I was being odd. XD
