marshjazz I'm moderate. While I think it is none of anybody's bisuness who anyone marries, I think that it might have a negitive effect on society and me. I think by allowing gay marrige divorce rates will rise as people think they are gay and then find out that they aren't. And alsobn if gays were allowed to be married all the adoption agencies might become empty, and it will become really hard to adopt a kid, which is good, unless you are one of the few straight people who would want to adopt a child. Since you can have a child and are straight, gay people will probably end up getting the preference. I'm not garenteeing this will happen, I just see it as a sad possibility. I have some "gay" friends and "bi" friends, and they partially influence me to be for it, but I'm just moderate, I can't make up my mind either way. As for choosing to be gay, you'd be surprized. I know atleast one person right off the top of my head that choose to be bi, and she only did it for the attension. She thinks it makes her fit in better with some of her older friends. Now in the real world, I'd say she was just pretending. One can't actually just spontaneously realize they're ******** gay or bi. In fact, it takes years of understanding yourself.
And I support gay marriage. All human beings have the same rights, yes?
If that's the case then if a straight person can get married, shouldn't the same rights be conferred to the gay person too?

gay marriage should be allowed, i mean, it is legal in some countries, even here in canada. to be more to the point, i find that gay's should be allowed to be open about their relationship and have the right to get married or to adopt a child. so to speak, i find gay marriages interesting. the same goes for lesbians, so what if you like the same sex? it's love, right?

Why do you think it is wrong? Is it just because they're different than you or because you think two people of the same sex who are in love don't deserve the same rights as two people of different sex who are in love? Come' on! Be more specific!

BucMan Me..... personally i think gay marrige is wrong. .....yet when girls make out all the guys want to see and get horny. Besides, there's nothing wrong about gay marrige. I've told everyone that gay people love each other, so what's the problem? The government has to make a big fuss over the small things that don't really matter so when a nuclear war is starting and the people complain they just say. "but there are two people of the same sex trying to get married."

.: my wounds cry for the grave [ g r a v e ] Gay marriage is something I do support even though I am not homo or bi sexual. I know plenty of people who are either of the above and they seem to be some of the nicest people I know. If there in love gender should not be able to get in the way, love is love. my soul cries for [ d e l i v e r a n c e ] :.___

Through the years, I grew up somewhat "in the middle". But, I've never really kissed a girl before and never had a long relationship with a male... If you love someone- you'll know. And if you'll take the chance to just jump, you'll jump thinking you'll fly. Then, you'll be fallen and all theirs if you trust that they will catch you.
So- gay marrage?
As long as you will take the chance and they will without a second thought- go for it!

Gay Marriage is something I support 100%! The way I see it is who really cares what another person is doing? Are they hurting someone else? Are they hurting themselves? No. So why not just let them get married? Yeah I get it, the bible says a marriage is between a man and a woman and homosexuality is against god. But the bible also says that if your hand offends you cut off your hand. If your eye offends you, cut out your eye. So, if your hand or eye offends you, will you really cut it off? Yeah. I don't think so. So why not let the gays be happy and get married? If you think about it, who are they to judge? I mean, the people who say, "it's against my religion for gays to marry." Well, isn't it also against your religion to judge people? What happened to God being the almighty judge? It's not you, you hypocrite. (sp?) I dunno. I just don't get it. I also know for a fact that you don't choose to be gay if you are truly gay. If not then, yeah you're probably doing it to fit in or get attention or whatever, which I have seen a countless number of times (especially with girls lately.) The way I see ot is if it feels right, and your happy, go for it. If it doesn't, then don't. Go Gay rights! 4laugh

I support same-sex marriage completely. If you truly love someone, you should be able to marry them no matter what your gender.
I hate when people say "Marriage is between a man and a woman because the Bible says so!" In America, church and state are supposed to be separate. And everyone is supposed to have equal rights. Unfortunately, for some reason, no one ever pays attention to the Constitution when deciding how people can live their lives. sweatdrop

I support gay marriage. Who are we to say that you can't marry someone just because they are the same gender as you are? I think that if you love someone and want to marry them, no matter what gender you are, then you should be able to do so. I don't see why people have an issue with gay people. confused If they love each other and want to be together, then who are we to say "no you can't marry that person because they are the same gender." I really don't see why people do that. Even with people who say that it goes against God, I don't see why they are rejecting them. Because God created us, if he made some of us gay, then who are we to say they can't be wed. It's just really sad how people do this and the government won't make legal. confused

I totally agree with your beliefs. You can't stop who you fall in love with. I support gay marriage 100% because if a heterosexual has the right to get married, then why do homosexuals not have the right. That seems completely unfair to me.

I support any kind of marriage so long as either party is happy with it. I don't believe that religion or one's personal beliefs should interfere with basic human rights.

I support Gay Marriage becuase I have a boyfriend and I really am in love with him, deeper in love than i've ever been with a girl. I know I wouldn't be able to stay in a long term relationship with a girl and could only really spend my life with a guy.
It's important to me mainly becuase in the UK the government aren't too fond of surrogacy for some reason. Surrogacy cant rly be advertised easily and surrogacy can't be an option for those with civil partnerships as they're only allowed for 'marriaged couples' as they're the only ones who are seen as capable of raising a child and becuase civil partners aren't technically 'married couples' they cannot have children of their own genes. I believe this is something that has to be changed by either allowing Gay Marriages or changing the laws of surrogacy.

I think that the government is just trying to be an a**, and they are scapegoating homosexuals, just because they are diffrent, and just because a person likes people of the same sex they shouldn't have all of the rights that people that like people of a diffrent sex
