I'd pick it up if no one is looking. The only reason I wouldn't is worrying that if someone saw me then they'd think I'm poor or cheap.
Same with those little bits of gold people would leave on the ground when I used to play runescape for a short time. Only if no one was around. ninja

I snatch up anything that glimmers. It all goes into a coffee can which then gets turned into gas money.
I was so excited one day because I found a quarter. I was telling everyone about it at work and this one kid was like "Geez, it's just a quarter."
I retorted with, "Well, apparently you don't have many expenses because a quarter is a fourth of a dollar and that is a sixteenth of a gallon of gas and that means I'll get like two miles from that b***h." This was still when gas was hovering around the $3.00 mark.
Side note: if any of you guys in America want to know high gas prices, go to Europe. While in Finland, the cheapest gas I saw was 1.55 €/L.
€/$ = 1.00/1.58 sooooo $2.44 per litre. There's like 3.8 litres per gallon, so that's like $9.00 a gallon.
My husband almost cried.
