"I don't know what would be considered far for a human but I can track down this scent in five minutes." InuYasha said smugly. Then he looked at Saber. "You're not a normal human are you?" he asked.
Kagome nodded. "And Tetsuiga's there. He's a really strong fighter." she said.

Tatsumi and Watari both became alert when they heard that either Hisoka or Tsuzuki was bleeding.
"I'll follow," He told Watari, "You stay here."
"Alright," Watari nodded as Tatsumi took to the air, following Inuyasha.

Muraki turned around and approached Tsuzuki, who was just beginning to regain consciousness. The doctor held a scalpel and lightly ran it across Tsuzuki's skin, cutting lightly into it, but the wound healing immediately.
"I want to know how you did it, Tsuzuki," He said in a low, menacing voice, "You survived for eight years without any food, drink, or sleep before dying by suicide. With a body like that, it's obvious you were never really human. Could it be you had demon blood in you?"
Tsuzuki, now almost completely awake, just stared blankly into space. Muraki seemed to know more about him than he did, and how could Muraki possibly know how long he was in the hospital? That was in the early 1900s, he was hospitalized roughly around 1918.
"Ah, you don't know, do you?" the doctor leaned over him, grinning, "You were my grandfather's patient. You surprised him greatly. Given that and your shinigami immortal abilities, I should be able to transplant Saki's body to you."
"Tsuzuki, snap out of it! You can get out of there easily, I know you can!" Hisoka tried to get through his friend's head, but all that happened was a tear falling from the corner of Tsuzuki's eyes. Hisoka's blood continued to fall, his ability to recover quickly obsolete due to the wire keeping the wounds open.
"Did you have a bad dream, Tsuzuki?" Muraki got closer to him, again caressing his neck, "Don't worry. Soon you will never dream again."

-Outside the Cloning Lab-

A man sat outside on a bench, his katana hidden and the key card to get into the lab near him. His friend, Muraki, had told him to keep watch, and no one could get in without the card. He was to challenge anyone who tried. I can't let Muraki down, he thought. Despite his best friend being a serial killer, he was still his best friend.

InuYasha was running faster as the scent got closer and closer. He skidded to a stop in front of a building and smelled someone close by, he spun around to see Oriya sitting on a bench. "Who are you?" he growled fingering Tetsuiga.

Chiaki let out a deep breath. He didn't like revealing his only secret that he had over L, but a deal was a deal. "Well, the being that you can't see happens to be an angel named Access Time. He's kind of like Fin, or at least how Fin was before she was kidnapped. Unlinke Fin who is a fallen angel, Access is a black angel who can't be seen by normal humans. People like you, me ,Light, and Kikyo shouldn't be able to see him. Although, since Kikyo has some kind of spiritual powers, she can. That's pretty much it. If you want more, you can tell me your plan first."

Watari looked at L and Chiaki, sure he was concerned about Tsuzuki and Hisoka, but with all the people going after them, they should get out alive at least. He listened to what they were talking about.

"I see you wear that watch on your right wrist," Muraki said as he removed Tsuzuki's shirt for his experiment, "Is it because you're a lefty? Or is it to hide that scar?"
Tsuzuki's eyes widened when he heard the doctor, he tried to struggle against the binds, without his hands he couldn't summon any of the shikigami.
"Don't move, or I'll destroy Hisoka first," Muraki threatened, causing Tsuzuki to cease his struggle, "On second thought, if I destroy Hisoka, it will be just like old times...." He grinned and as he walked past Tsuzuki cut into his skin again with the scalpel, causing Tsuzuki to bleed more before it healed. He slowly approached Hisoka.

"I'm merely a friend keeping watch for a friend," Oriya said simply, "Who are you? And I see you have a sword too."
Tatsumi appeared next to InuYasha, "Who is this friend of yours?"
"A doctor," shrugged Oriya.
"Muraki?" Tatsumi growled his guess, it was answered with a simple nod.
"Unfortunately, to get in to visit him and his new test subjects you need the card key, and in order to get that key you have to defeat me," Oriya said confidently.

He drew his katana quickly and swiped at him, hoping to do some damage before InuYasha's attack hit. When it did, he crumpled to the ground, gasping in surprise before closing his eyes in the pool of blood. The card key fell out of his shirt into the blood.

"Don't get any nearer to him Muraki!" Tsuzuki continued to struggle, if he was going to destroy Hisoka anyway, then he needed to try and stop it.
"What's another being killed anyway? Isn't it because of you so many lost their lives?" Muraki turned again to Tsuzuki, Hisoka had passed out from blood lost, sure he was a shinigami- but even shinigami could die again. Tsuzuki froze, yes...it was his fault...Muraki killed in the past to get to him....

Watari looked at Kagome, "Well, we can choose whether or not we want you to see us, right now I'm in my human form, but if I change to my spirit form," he turned himself into his 'ghost' form, aka his spirit form. He changed back so he could continue speaking to her, "You can't hear or see me. It's the same with the others. I'm guessing if you get another set of shinigami, you get another set of rules."

"Well, I'm guessing they're in this building, but I don't know where exactly they are," Tatsumi replied, "That will help unlock the door, can you find the scent again?"

"This is for you, Tsuzuki," Muraki grinned, knowing if he told Tsuzuki it was his fault others were in pain, it would only torture Tsuzuki further. Plus, the pain would of course be inflicted on Hisoka, and more blood loss will bring Hisoka closer to permanent deletion from the world. He discarded the scalpel, taking up a bigger knife and sticking it through Hisoka's stomach. It didn't kill the boy, since it immediately started to heal itself, but he could see the pained expression on Tsuzuki's expression. His memories going back, it was getting to be too much mental torture for him, and physical torture for Hisoka.

Kagome's eyes widened when she saw Watari disappear. "B-but why did it seem like L could see the other shinigami?" she asked. "Especially when the rest of us humans, and Tetsuiga and Access, couldn't?"
InuYasha handed the keycard to Tatsumi. "I don't know how to use this." he muttered. "And hell yeah I can get the scent, it's all over this place. It's impossible for me to loose it!" Then he blanched. "And it's getting worse."
