Fallout: The Ruined York (Open and Accepting)

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Thanks Rud." Alex sighed, patting him on top of his head.  

[Zahzi]

The group did not take any breaks and walked through the night, the fire behind them giving anything in the Wasteland a distraction from them.

By morning, they would be at the subway.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Here Rud." Alex yawned, slowly beginning to wake up as she still sat on the top of his head, now climbing off.
"We're close enough. And you've done enough carrying of me for a while."  

[Zahzi]

Rud lowered down to allow her to get off while the others entered the city.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Thank you." Alex cooed, giving a closed eye smile as she scratched Rud beneath his jaw. It worked on other animals, maybe it would work on him..?  

[Zahzi]

Rud gave what sounded like a soothed grunt, his eyes closed. Clearly it was working.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Careful Master~ That scratch has been known to make Deathclaws hungry~" HK cooed, hoping to just scare Alex.

Instantly, Alex gave up and stared at Rud wide eyed.
"...Right then." She coughed, limping away to catch up with the others.  

[Zahzi]

Rud gave a depressed whimper, lowering his head.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Alex frowned, looking from HK and to Rud.

"...There, there..." She sighed, continuing to scratch him again.  

[Zahzi]

Even Rud's tail began to wag from the scratching.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...You're like a dog." Alex giggled.

"A big, scaly, dangerous dog."  

[Zahzi]

Rud tilted his head for a moment before slowly going down on all fours, imitating a dog. His bark though, would put even a gunshot to shame...  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

When Rud 'barked' Alex screamed, jumping back from him and staring wide eyed.
"Stop! No barking!"  

[Zahzi]

Rud blinked, before tilting his head.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Let's just go into the city..." Alex sighed, turning around and limping to the entrance.
