Malik couldn't help but laugh at the blond's response, "Cute..." His voice trailed and became lost in more giggles. " Hun, honestly... I was relating you to a dog. It's an expression. Perhaps I translated it wrong? Japanese isn't my language if you happened to forget."
He sighed and leaned back into the couch, "It means you only see things... in one way or another without any middle ground.... it's idiotic and ignorant."

And as for Honda and me, I don't get why you preach of tolerance even though you don't seem to be able to accept that we are straight... I mean, just because you feel that you can lean towards both genders doesn't mean that everyone can." Jounouchi said with a frown, "You can't base everyone else's sexualities on your own!"

That is how I know! You haven't done anything with anybody right? So how can you truly know for sure. I'm not saying that you guys are gay or straight or whatever, I'm saying how can you actually know for sure without trying! That's like saying, 'oh I hate that food..." even if you haven't tried it! It's just idiotic." He threw his hands in the air and back down to hit his thighs before sighing and shaking his head.

Out of nowhere, without really thinking about what he was doing, Jounouchi suddenly slapped Malik across the face. He held his hand in place for a few seconds afterward, then slowly lowered it, glaring down at Malik, "What, you think it's weird that there's actually a part of my life I didn't want ruined?! I mean, God, I've done so many idiotic things in the past it's not even funny! I've pretty much tainted every bit of my childhood with gang life and bullying and drugs and all kinds of s**t, but I actually managed to keep one part of my life innocent! So you think it's weird that I don't want to throw that last bit of my past away so easily? Well fine then! I'm weird and inexperienced in relationships! So be it!" he stood up, "I don't give a damn about sexualities or romance or any of that! I think I'd rather just retain the little bit of my innocence that you didn't take away!" he turned on his heel and began storming off towards the door.

Immense shock immediately crossed the Egyptian's features. He blinked a few times and rubbed his cheek, letting out a gasp of pain.
"I-I'm sorry Jounouchi..." Malik stammered falling to his knees on the floor, " I shouldn't have treated you like that... I didn't realize.. you..." He closed his eyes hard and they started to burn against their eyelids, "I'm just being desperate I guess... don't.. leave..."

Jounouchi's expression softened ever-so-slightly as he turned around to completely face Malik. "Why..." he began quietly, but then seemed to consider what he was saying, "...why do you care about me at all...? Why do you care if we're friends or care if I leave or... why do you need me...?"
