Thee Stranger I will say... I love Theme of Laura. I will also say... the only anime I ever watched outside of Cowboy Beebop was hentai. Which kinda sucks, to tell you the truth. The tits are amazing, but it ends there. Real porn is a lot better. Don't you guys think?
actually i find real porn to be very very boring. Japan manages to put some VERY amusing stories into most of their hentais and they come up with the most bizaare s**t i have EVER seen for a porn. so bizaare it actually manages to hold my interest
Quote: Oh, and real pORNz is infinitely better than hentai. For many reasons, but the main one being this: tentacles. What kinda sad sickos get off on that sick shi*? okay seriously guys, go on 4chan, go to the yaoi channel and you'll see that most of the people on there actually get off on that sort of thing. and tentacles PALES in comparison to the weirder s**t ive seen people get off on. scat fetish kinda tops that in my opinion of weirdness...or inflation? *shudders*
and what do you mean anime isn't what it was? just how much anime have you actually WATCHED to base that statement off of? and im a huge a** dragonball z fan, but a LOT of people will argue with you for why they think its stupid. but have you checked out animes like Full Metal Alchemist, Witch Hunter Robin, Gungrave (which was drawn by the same artist that did Trigun), or even D.Gray-man? And most of those are still pretty current. There's a crap load of MORE anime i haven't even touched yet let alone compared to the older stuff.
Biohazard EXTREME See, that's a tough one. I wanna say general gaming, but everyone and their mother on Gaia has a "General Gaming" guild. So I dunno... What else do we all like aside from Resident Evil?
wtf? don't forget Silent Hill xD but start a new guild? i know most of this one is kinda dead but i still consider it a great guild to have around. instead of buildling a new one, why not just rename this guild to something else and redefine the rules and delete old threads...or something.
or how about just a Horror Survival Gaming guild? That could include quite a few games. but i dont know. i just like it the way it is. besides do we really want to open up to more.....for lack of better words....idiots? xD

And most of those are still pretty current. There's a crap load of MORE anime i haven't even touched yet let alone compared to the older stuff. But even the newer really good shows don't really capture that charm that shows like DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Urusei Yatsura, etc. had. But it's the same thing with the Western animation too. I mean, all these new Marvel shows are crap compared to like the 1992 X-Men, or 1994 Spider-Man. To name a few.
ElenaMason wtf? don't forget Silent Hill xD but start a new guild? i know most of this one is kinda dead but i still consider it a great guild to have around. instead of buildling a new one, why not just rename this guild to something else and redefine the rules and delete old threads...or something. or how about just a Horror Survival Gaming guild? And I doubt Beta would just give us the guild and say, "Here, do what you want with it."

Chase: Tentacles are so 90's. That kind of genre still exists, but it's not nearly as prevalent as it was years ago. I've never cared for it, it's just too weird.
Bio: I've definitely heard of Higurashi. I haven't read the visual novel or watched the anime, but I know it's quite popular. I've seen most of the Umineko (a series by the same guy who did Higarushi) anime, but a ton of people say the VN is superior (and that the manga is better, but not as good as the visual novel). I'd take their word for it since I've never seen or heard of a single person preferring the anime over the VN.
As for visual novels, I'd highly recommend Fate/Stay Night. There's also an anime adaptation, but I've heard it's mediocre in comparison. There's a manga too, but people say it's s**t.
Elena: Wow I agree. At least some of them try to have a decent story and there are a few that actually pull it off. The people are (usually) much better looking as well. xd
Inflation? I actually think I know what that is. Kind of related to pregnancy fetishes right?
Tin: Yes, everyone can chat about anything in this topic! smile Sailor Moon's license got pulled because it's creator wanted it pulled. She didn't like how DIC was editing the show (on that note, she already wasn't happy with what Toei Animation did with the Starlites - changing them from cross dressers to gender changers). I heard talk about them bringing Stars on air (of course this was way back when it was still on Toonami), but I had no idea how they were going to make that season work on American television (Of course the Starlites, not to mention the final battle, which had some pretty violent moments at least in the manga). BTW, Uranus and Neptune didn't pose as cousins in the manga or in the anime originally. That was just DIC trying to avoid problems with parents. I would love to see Sailor Moon back on tv, but I doubt that's going to happen.
And with what you say about hentai, it depends. Yeah it's definitely true with some, but with others it's not like that. There are characters that have happy, non slutty sex.
-------
As for a new guild that everyone is discussing, Canas made one months ago (Visions of the End). We could all move there possibly since it's already set up.
Where the hell is he anyway? *looks under a rock*
Edit: Actually I just thought about this. What if we had group chats on Second Life? I know of a few low traffic places where we wouldn't be bothered.

@Bio: Although I've grown accustomed to this face...Err, place, I wouldn't mind starting another guild.
Things we like in common? ...Zombies, of course, but I think in saying that we all like zombies means that we also like the general genre of horror in entertainment as well...So how 'bout we start a general horror guild? I know there's a dime a dozen of those, so how 'bout we make ours stand out by centering on something untouched (I guess that wouldn't mean it'd be general haha). Any suggestions? (p.s. I've been thinking of starting my own guild for a while, so...Yeah.)
I was thinking about making a guild which focused on people sharing thier horrorish visions of non-horror games, movies, books, etc. Sorta like an expressive arts-and-crafts guild...Or, rather, darkarts-and-witchcrafts.
@Angela: If tentacles are so 90's, then what's so 2010?
@Elena: Of the newer animes, I watched numerous episodes of Naruto and Bleach. In all honesty, those were the most popular animes during my jr. year of high school (Right when I stopped watching anime), so I kinda thought of them as the neo DBZ and YuYuH. While I don't doubt hidden gems have always existed past and presently, the new school popular just can't appeal to my old school sensibilities. Believe it.
