Horror sounds cool.
Actually, I already have a guild. It used to be a "Hardcore RE Guild" then it became Official Mortal Kombat Guild, then I expanded it into a general Fighting Game guild, but then I just kinda abandoned it, and it hasn't been getting much traffic. So, it might take a lot of effort, but zero gold to just basically remodel that guild, and it's got like 5+ subforums in it too. We could do all sorts of things with it.
But I like the idea of horror.

I'm thinking of making not only a general horror guild, but a what if discussion guild as well- That being it's main draw.

Like I said, I want it to be an expressive "dark arts-and-crafts" guild where people will (hopefully) be discussing topics such as "What if The Legend of Zelda was a survival horror/adventure series?" and what not.

But I don't know if I want to construct this guild from the ground up or consider your remodeling plan...If you're offering, that is.

And yes, I am offering. I got a good deal on the guild. I bought it off some user. I paid the standard guild price for it, but it already had like 5 sub-forums. So it would be a shame to let it go to waste.
But before I remodel, I want everything to be prepared. For example, let's say we have a subforum discussing Horror movies, and you wanna put in a general sticky that would say, "Welcome to such and such. This forum is for discussing such and such." I'd like all that stuff to be pretyped in text, so that once we originate the thread, just paste it in, and bam, it's created. And I'm not saying that you'll have to pretype all of it, but I would appreciate some help.

Same with the rules, and such.

But first and foremost, I wanna see how many people HERE are interested in it. We'll obviously spread the word later, but the bigger we start, the better. Plus pretty much everyone here who joins and is interested, is automatically crew.

And even though you don't have a band to contribute music to my film anymore, I'd still appreciate if you could maybe design a poster or something, Bio. If you want to, that is. In saying that, I will still send you a copy of the script once it's completed, also if you want to...Or, rather, want ME to.

I know there's a dime a dozen of those, so how 'bout we make ours stand out by centering on something untouched (I guess that wouldn't mean it'd be general haha). Any suggestions? (p.s. I've been thinking of starting my own guild for a while, so...Yeah.)

I was thinking about making a guild which focused on people sharing thier horrorish visions of non-horror games, movies, books, etc. Sorta like an expressive arts-and-crafts guild...Or, rather, darkarts-and-witchcrafts.

@Elena: Of the newer animes, I watched numerous episodes of Naruto and Bleach. In all honesty, those were the most popular animes during my jr. year of high school (Right when I stopped watching anime), so I kinda thought of them as the neo DBZ and YuYuH. While I don't doubt hidden gems have always existed past and presently, the new school popular just can't appeal to my old school sensibilities. Believe it.

i didn't say Naruto and Bleach now did I? I left those out for a reason even though I love them both, but I gave a list of anime I think are legitimately fantastic. Can't forget the newest Hellsing OVA either, the re-rendition of the series. oh my god....but i guess to each their own because the animes I love to watch today have the same zing as the classics I watched when i was younger, which i still watch.

Those were the animes I listed in which you asked me what I based my statement off of. And I did say that hidden gems have existed past and presently. And that's what I consider the animes you listed: Hidden gems. Because if they were uber popular like Nartuo and Bleach were (At the time. Don't know if they still are), I sure as hell would have heard of them, or at least been more aware of their existences (except FMA, which I have heard of but can't talk about since I haven't watched any of the anime).

Actually, I did read your post about the horror survival guild, although I didn't present your same idea. A general horror guild (With a twist!) would have been my recommendation regardless of what anyone presented prior to my post. 3nodding

Anyways,I finally know why Kurt Cobain Shot himself.....I just listened to a song by Hole and that voice made me want to go to my gun safe,pull out the 12 gauge,load it,and blow the brains out of the top of my skull.

So,anyone else dissatisfied by Soul Calibur IV?So much potential just gone to waste,it's a fun game don't get me wrong,but it seems like they spent all their time with the characters,weapons/appearances,moves,and the character creation.Whereas they should have evened it out and made a more less dull;less reptative storyline.

@ Elena: I will admit, sometimes I enjoy how the characters psychologically screw each other as they really screw, but the actual act is usually not much to look at. It's just, like, the same three frames of animation looped over. The women are often too annoyingly loud as well, and usually the storylines are just too anime style for my tastes. And often there's too much story and not enough of what I came to see. If you catch my drift. And yeah, I find a lot of women like anime porn better cause the dudes are more attractive than IRL porn dudes usually are.

And in regards to the new guild... I don't really see much point. But hey, whatever. If there's going to be a migration of sorts, I'm assuming it's so there'll be more activity. In which case, let the RE4 n00bs in, because I enjoy ******** with them. Whatever it turns out to be though, I support it being horror. Horror in all media, from books to board games. It's only appropriate. LOL, and I'm flattered, but I don't know if it'd be such a good idea to make ME crew. xd but hey, I'm down. I'll help in whatever way I can. Honestly, I am kinda sick of seeing RE5 as our front page though.
