Armored Core: The Final Push (Paused)

[Zahzi]

The doctor gave a sigh, beginning his examination.
"It's not that I don't want to aid Jarid, it's that when I do, I'm going to deal with every other person in this city that wants to kill him."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly let out a feral growl.  

[Zahzi]

"Apparently you're not used to people sending you death threats."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly only grunted... It was the best she could do to tell him, "Well, I've only been attack twice tonight by radical Jarid haters who wanted me dead for supporting him. First group threw me down on the ground and kicked me, then punched me, and knocked me out. The second group tried putting a bullet in my head."  

[Zahzi]

The doctor only continued.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly then grew still and quiet. Whether the sedative finally began to take full effects, or she just stopped to make the doctor's time easier, was uncertain.  

[Zahzi]

After awhile, the Doctor had done his best to aid Kelly, which was re-aligning the ribs, and patching up any other facial injuries she had.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly continued to be still and quiet, though she was very tense...  

[Zahzi]

The doctor looked down at her for a moment, giving a sigh.
"The other reason I can't do it is because Wong-Shao-Lung covers the materials needed, and makes sure he knows who's getting it....He knows Jarid needs it."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly began to growl again, this time more louder and more feral. Her whole body began to twitch and jerk, as if she were trying to rip off the straps holding her down.  

[Zahzi]

"If he finds out Jarid's trying to get cured, and that I'm allowing it, he'll not only reject the transfer of materials, he'll shut me down and possibly get me killed."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Kelly only became more violent...Although she wasn't trying to attack the doctor...She was focusing more on getting off the bed...  

[Zahzi]

By now, the doctor was beginning to undo the straps.

Once freed, Kelly immediately fell out of the bed with a pained groan. But she started inching for the door..  

[Zahzi]

"Really. Quite brilliant....Bravo..." The doctor mocked, giving an equally mocking applause, clapping slowly.
