Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

[cptflint]

Steam stopped the bike in front of the factory and dismounted. He kept his rifle in hand as he made his way inside.  

[Zahzi]

"And what happens if the same thing happens to you, Edge?" Tango asked, staring down at her.

The computer turned its attention from Edge to the new interloper.  

[cptflint]

"Hellooooo," Steam said, looking around. "Anybody home?" he asked. He wasn't expecting anything in the factory to be hostile but he still kept his finger close to the trigger, just in case.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Dad always jokes around that the only person who can defeat me is myself. And since I'm essentially Metal Man, I think I can handle him."  

[Zahzi]

"No. What happens when your existence is reduced to cinders?"

Alert. New visitor inside the factory: State your business.

 

[cptflint]

"Just checking in on a friend and I heard Tango was here," he replied. "I don't want any trouble."  

[Zahzi]

Then why do you carry your weapon in that fashion?

 

[cptflint]

"Just in case trouble happens," he replied. "It's not like I'm walking pointing it at everything that moves," he added. "Now would you mind telling me where they are?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Are you threatening me?" Edge rose an eyebrow. "Why the sudden hostility? Are we going be bouncing back and forth like this all the time?"  

[Zahzi]

"I am not trying to be hostile. I am merely asking what happens if the life you know ends due to something like this?" Tango reiterated.
"Once I have your answer, I will take you to Metal Man. It's clear you won't listen to my reasons otherwise.."

They are below; Your presence is alarming. Why are you looking for them?

 

[cptflint]

"I was concerned," he replied simply as he started moving towards the stairs. "Edge might be doing something stupid..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"My life isn't going to end. Not while I'm still functioning enough to have a say and effect in it." Edge answered.  

[Zahzi]

You have not yet been given permission to descend.

Tango stared at her for a solid minute.
"Fine." he grunted, making his way to the end of the corridor.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Are you always this rude to people who save your life?" Edge asked sarcastically as she followed Tango. "Or is this just the treatment for everyone?"  

[Zahzi]

"And do you constantly invade another's privacy even though your creator will be disappointed in your actions?" Tango grunted.
