I always wondered why the hell they made me learn so much English grammar when the native speakers don't even use the proper grammar.

At the end, a foreigner like me ends up using a more proper grammar than most of the native speakers of English, isn't that extremely saddening?

I should go back to typing skills with 'z'...

I know! I used to wonder about that. My mom's a grammar freak so she always impressed upon me the importance of proper grammar and spelling. And then I come onto forums and I realize that those people who come from English speaking countries don't even bother.

Is it true that the American schools have removed Grammar from the curriculum?
