"Oi, Mishima-kun...training hard? We don't know the date of the chuunin exams yet, so we're training hard for it." Kouga replied from the bottom of a tree. He then got up, and started practicing with his chokuto.
"Howl, Ginran." the blade of the chokuto disappeared and 2 trees nearby fell over, cut neatly in half. Hmm, it's gotten better now,before I could only cut one down. Kouga thought.

Kouga sat down under a tree and placed his chokuto in his hands, and began to meditate, conversing with the wind spirit.
In Kouga's mind:
"Little one," a voiced sounded, "You have mastered the first and basic move, the wind blade. I will now teach you another."
"Hai." Kouga said to no one in particular.
"Listen carefully, for this will be important in the future..." the voice continued.
In the real world:
Kouga's chakra could be seen flickering like an aura, as he was learning about the chokuto's abilities within his mind.

Kouga opened his eyes, and they flashed blue for a second because of the spirit's power.
"Howl, Ginran." he gripped the chokuto in his right hand. The blade disappeared, and the air around him began to spin around rapidly. Seconds later, a tornado formed around Kouga.
"Wind tornado" he raised his sword and slashed forwards. The tornado traveled at a nearby tree...and suddenly disappeared. Damn, so it's really hard to master...he thought.

(I'm trying not to god-mode with this, but Ric DID say it has other powers xp )
Kouga returned the blade to the handle, and turned to Bril,
"Yep, ok." he said. But it still feels really heavy! he whined to himself. Feeling very sluggish, he readied his chokuto and got into position.

Kouga focused his chakra into the chokuto, trying to increase its cutting power. However, it looks quite blunt. Meh...it still doesn't work...? he thought. He then focused chakra onto his feet and leapt at Bril with the chokuto raised, going faster because of the chakra.

Kouga slammed his chokuto into Bril's nunchuck, and the blade disappeared. A blade of wind could be seen coming behind Bril, threatening to cut him in half...

Kouga sidestepped when he saw the water flying at him, but not too fast because of his weights. The water barely missed him as he turned his head.
"Air Cutter" a wide jet of air shot at Bril, trying to slam him into a tree.
