"What are you talking about? You had plenty of both! A woman who loved you...two actually but one of them died. A son. So many friends that could never hope to repay you for all the good you've done for them. And a girl who looked up to you like a father and friend. She may not have been good at showing it, but she loved you more than anyone. You were always there for her and you were the best thing she ever had," her voice faultered and she faught back tears, "She would have given her life for you. She still would if it meant getting the real Kabal back. All of this," she motioned to the destruction around her, "happened because she was stupid enough to trust someone who had already died. She trusted him because she thought that he could be real. He wasn't, and because of that, she lost you. Believe me when I say she would do anything for you. She...she loves you."

"You have me," Liz whispered in a voice just soft enough for him to hear. That's all she could say. She didn't know what else to tell him. She just stood there, looking at him as if willing the evil shell to break and reaveal the true Kabal.

Liz shook her head and a stray tear ran down her face. "The angels saved me and Ethan," she whispered, "Kabal...I'm here. I'm not gunna leave you. Now will you just....turn into something smaller so I can hug you?" It was strange...the overwhelming feeling she had to wrap her arms around his neck, hold onto him, and never let go.

Liz warpped her arms around his neck as a few more tears ran down her face. She didn't say anything, just held onto him as if by letting him go, he would dissappear. She closed her eyes and put her head on his chest. "I'm so sorry," Liz whispered after a moment, "This is all my fault."

"No!" Liz screamed and ran to him, kneeling beside his body. "Kabal don't do this to me. Don't leave me." She whipped around to see who had fired the arrow. Whoever it was, she would kill them slowly and painfully.

Before even she herself knew what she was doing, Liz pulled the arrow out of Kabal and charged at Salem, plunging the tip of the arrow into his chest with an angry scream. She shoved the arrow in so deep that its tip started to protrude from Salem's back.

"Fight me," Liz demanded, ignoring the pain in her wrist. She ttok out two identical weapons. She hadn't been carrying them beofre. It was obvious they came from the angels. It only confirmed what she had been thinking before: her battle had only just begun. The weapons were slender and beautiful. Too long to bedaggers but too short to be considered swords. They were both made of whi ing silver that seemed to emit a dim white glow. There were symbols etched into the blades in an angelic language. Liz had no idea at his point that the swords she held were only used by the most powerful angels. Most could not even hold the swords without being destroyed from the power that coursed through the weapons. These were the Swords of Heaven.
