It was a lovely day, though Xiang was a little sad that it was the final game of the season. It had been a pretty wonderful season, and she couldn't wait to see how it ended. Would Skyla Byrnes continue her hot streak, or would rookie Csuri Narain cause a wild upset? Would the Slytherin Chasers put up the same fight they did last game, or would the Gryffindors manage to keep possession? It was all so exciting! Once everyone was on the pitch, Xiang summoned them to the sky. She released the bludgers and the snitch, then grabbed the quaffle and took to the sky.

"Gooooood morning, my little ducklings! We're here today to witness the final match of our season. We've got Gryffindor versus Slytherin, and we're going for the title, as well as team placements. As always, I want a nice, clean match. No cheating, no magic, and no shenanigans. Captains ready? Chasers ready? Here we go!" She threw the quaffle straight up and backed away quickly so she could watch the game unfold.

Already warmed up and ready to go, Brianna took up her starting position,and waited for Professor Liu to officially start the match and release the balls. As soon as the Quaffle was launched, she rushed in to try a setup Slytherin's first possession of the match.

Roxie was going toe to toe with the Slytherin vice captain, but she was pretty sure she could do this. She'd been working on her toss-up catches, after all. Swooping in, Roxie attempted to get the ball in Gryffindor's possession.

Brianna managed to close the range and grab the ball from Roxie's grasp. The Slytherin Chaser pulled her broomstick upwards, flipping herself over in a hard turn and started barreling back towards the Gryffindor goals.

Dang, she missed! Roxie flew faster, reaching out a hand to try once more to steal before Brianna was able to get to the goals. Then again, Torin was probably the best keeper in the whole school, so at least he'd stand a chance at defending! She stretched out, trying to grab the quaffle away.
