Rad entered the castle, ready to overthrow the tyrannical prince, ED. ED's father had fallen ill, and ED's plans are well known. Fighting through the royal guard, Rad enter's the prince's room.
"I knew someone would attempt to kill me... I just didn't expect someone as inept looking as you..." Ed greeted Rad. He was looking out the window, on the kingdom that would one day be his.
"You are a monster, ED. Someone needs to stop you. I volunteered." Rad retorted. "I also have something no one expected..."
"Oh, do you?" Said ED mockingly. At that moment, he shed the human guise to be revealed as a dragonkin.
"That won't stop me." Rad said with confidence. Rad held out his arms and electricity flew from his palms. He directed the bolt at the dragon prince.
The force knocked ED out the window. As the glass shattered, ED tried to flap his wings, but was paralyzed from the jolt.
And so he fell.
Rad looked down, knowing the people had won. The royal line saw him as a usurper when elected the new king. He ruled with honor and brought a peace long forgotten.
Rad was the victor in this battle.
