Kir wasn't able to hold in his Vampiric needs. He needed to drink blood.
He frenzied and lunged at the cage next to him. Grabbing the experiment he bit before, he pulled it closer and tried to bite it. This time the experiment didn't fight back and a little smile appeared on it's face.

Leonard put one hand on the man's shoulder, and tried injecting him with the syringe.

Some Might Say...

Drake saw the syringe plunge into his flesh, and knew immediately that is wasn't a pain reliever or anesthetic. He had been injected with the like too many times for him to mistake it. Unsure what it was, but assuming the worst, Drake pulled his needle out of hiding and stabbed it into his flesh. "If I'mma be killed it's gonna be wit meh own chemicals." He told them. The hyena took a deep breath and let out a high powered sound blast at the one who injected him. It might have seemed drastic, but he was an old man anyway, so he was going to go out in mad glory of his own choosing, not through an injection disguised as a pain killer.

Leonard right at that moment was glad he had kept his headphones on, and charged them, causing them to block out the sonic blast. pushing the syringe plunger deeper, it shot the blood in. "I'm sure you dont care how he dies, hmm Rick?"

Rick covered his ears when Drake yelled, "I don't care. Corpses are just as useful," He said.

Kir was about to bite down on the experiment's arm when he stopped. A shudder went through him and he leaned against the side of the cage half aware.

Some Might Say...

Drake was about to let out another scream when the poison took hold. He coughed, hacked and fell backwards. Drake turned his head to Rick and with his last energy, let out a large burst of sonic energy which tore out the back of his throat. As the energy left him, the hyena died.

Rick quickly lifted his blade and red energy came out. It was enough to block out most of the attack, but it still blew out his eardrums. He dropped the sword and put his hands on his ears painfully.

Mana gave Kir a look of 'Seriously?' bfore leaning against the back of his cage. Something was happening but he couldnt figure out what. "You will grab a tainted person without thinking but when someone offers thier blood to you then you become cautious? Smart." He probably was gonna get hit but Mana was to irritated by the situation to really care.

Kir slowly opened his eyes and looked across his cage to Mana's. He couldn't speak, and even if he could he wasn't in the mood to talk...or do anything. He scratched at the crystallis in his neck again. Already there was long gashes there due to his claws.

"What's wrong with your neck? It looks like you're trying to claw out your throat and kill yourself." Mana was watching him with a slightly worried expression.

"..." Kir smiled. Yes that's exactly what he's doing. He's trying to remove that crystallis and kill himself. He couldn't have put it any better himself. His throat moved a little as he laughed with no sound like he was crazy. Kill himself? What an excellent idea!

"Poor Lily if that's the case. She just made her way out of Crystallis but is gonna come back soon, risk her life to find you and all she will find is a body. But you know what's worse? When she realizes your dead she will lose the will to live and end up dying a horrible painful death and all of it will have been for nothing." Mana gave Kir a look of 'It's all your fault'. "That what is gonna happen to her all because you wanted to kill yourself instead of holding strong for her."

As Kir laughed in silence, tears fell down his face at the mention of her name. He shoved himself into a corner and cried into his hands. This was true hell...And that accusing look Mana was giving him wasn't helping. He knows he's to blame for all of Lily's pain and hardships. He didn't need a complete stranger to rub that in his face like that. And he couldn't even speak to him.

"At the very least you could wait for her and when she breaks you out try and make your time with her the best she could ever live for." Mana's expression softened. "If you feel so guilty then try and make it up to her now. Yesterday you can't change but you could at least make the future happy for her. And I think her happy future includes you"

Kir looked across the isle at Lydia. She's supposed to be something like his child. Could that be possible? Then, is this...
He hid his head again. No, he couldn't remind himself of Keiri at a time like this. That innocent girl who called him 'uncle Kir'. Now she's been reduced to rock. What happy future? Everyone he cares about dies!
