Cral blew a kiss to her before turning to head towards the Temple walls. He had been through wars, fought for his life and those of people he'd never even met before. So why was leaving Hulinn so hard for him to do?
"I'm afraid the baths aren't coed." he said. "But I will take you up on getting you out of those clothes when we get there." Kai added with a smile.
Madam Tristcal waved a hand to dismiss the idea of interrupting. "Let them have some time together. He won't be able to see her for a while once we start the ceremony."

Abby nodded. "And when he does she won't be in any condition to 'spend time'." She finished. Looking back to Cral and Hulinn she smiled. "He's already in love with her."
Hulinn returned the blown kiss and waved at him till he was out of sight. Then she ran a hand through her dark hair with a sigh. She turned and headed back into the temple.
Saiya smiled at him and kissed his nose. "You got a deal." She told him with a smile.

"Exactly." she answered, patting the girl on the head. "Now come along. We might as well meet Hulinn in the kitchen for breakfast and keep her company."
"I was hoping you'd say that." Kai said, smiling.
Cral reached the gate that opened to the cliff's drop off and stepped towards the ledge as he made a promise to himself. He'd make it back to Hulinn no matter what. With that he lept, spreading his wings as he did so. Heading off in the direction he was always pulled, off towards his duty.

Abby nodded as she followed after Madam quickly, grabbing her dolly off the bed as she did. The child never went anywhere without it. "You know she's going to leave don't you? Right after Saiya is safe with Kai again."
Saiya laughed and hopped off the bed. "Come on then. I could really use a bath, I'm starting to stink." She said as she made a face.
Hulinn had just reached the kitchen and sat down with a cup of coffee. She pulled a cell phone like device from her belt and started flipping through it as she sipped at the coffee.

"Hopefully she won't stay away long." she chatted, before opening the door to the kitchen. "Why hello there Hulinn, and how are you this morning?" Madam Tristcal asked, a smile playing across her face as she fixed herself and Abby some tea.
"You could never stink." Kai replied, standing up to take her hand.

Saiya laughed. "You're opinion is a little biased." She pointed out as she let him lead her out of the room.
Hulinn arched an eyebrow at them. "As though you don't know." She scoffed with a smirk and a wink as she looked back to the device.
Abby frowned. "Not that one." She told Hulinn seriously as she sat down. Hulinn glanced up at her as though she had just issued a challenge and pushed a button. Abby turned concerned eyes on Madam Tristcal.

"You should try listening to the girl Hulinn. She's like a younger version of us plus the ability to read thoughts." she cautioned, setting a cup of tea down in front of Abby. "Beside, you know deep down that one wasn't one you should have taken anyways."
"Perhaps." he said, looking back at her as they turned a corner.

Saiya laughed and poked his arm. "Perhaps. And perhaps I'm really some kind of......" She broke off for a moment. "Wait. Isn't Hulinn an elf?" She asked him as she blinked.
Hulinn smiled at Madam Tristcal. "Perhaps. But what's done is done. Besides it's the closest and fastest. I'll be back before him and won't have to rush."

"Well if you insist on going then I have something I want to give you before you do." Madam Tristcal stated, sitting down next to Hulinn as she took a sip of tea. "So...?"
"Yes, she's an elf." Kai answered, turning to look back at her as he lead them down a hallway.

"But that means so was my mother right? So....I'm not.....human?" Saiya was a bit confused about that point but she was puzzling through it, after all she hadn't had her coffee yet so her brain was still a little fuzzy.
Hulinn arched an eyebrow. "So.....what is it you want to give me?" She asked her curiously as she sipped her coffee.

"You'll have to wait around and find out." she commented, smiling at Hulinn over her cup.
Kai slowed down to allow Saiya time to think. "But your father was human." he reminded her.

Saiya nodded. "But Hulinn, she doesn't seem overly elven. Except for the looks wise and magic." She pointed out. "So what am I?" She asked him with a frown.
Hulinn snorted. "As soon as Kai has her I'm leaving and you know that." She told the old woman. "So don't play games I'm better at."

Hulinn laughed and covered Abby's ears. "Madam. There are plenty of things 'to do' in this temple." She reminded her with a wink as Abby swatted at her hands.
Saiya laughed and hugged him. "Alright alright enough with the flattery." She teased. "Lets get me a bath."

Kai wrapped his arms around Saiya. "I was actually looking forward to the before bath part." he whispered into her ear with a smile.
"Hmmmmm... Good point." she agreed with another smile, reaching for one of the pastries in the middle of the table. "But all those 'things' will take way too long to do. Even I can't make the night stretch that long.
