Elizabeth watched his hand as it brushed her hair away from her face as it feel over her eyes. She began running her fingers back and forth through his hair lightly as she placed her head on his chest. She listened to his heart in his chest. It was a soothing sound some how. 'This feels so right but somehow so wrong at the same time,' she thought to herself as her smile pulled down to a light frown. Thankfully with her head pressed against Donovan's chest he couldn't see the frown.

((I've got nothing planned for the short term. Did you want to skip forward to his coronation?))
Donovan could no longer help it and purred quietly, sleepily, as she ran her fingers through his hair. His eyes closed with both contentment and exhaustion. His arms wrapped around, holding her to him as he started to drift off to sleep. This was perfect. Well, it was as close to perfect as they would ever be.

[[I think that be best since we both got nothing for the short term.]]
Elizabeth watched as he drifted off to sleep before her. Soon she found her own eyes start closing as exhaustion to began to over take her. Finally letting her eyes shut she too feel into a good sleep. This was perfect, or for now it was.

Donovan stared ahead as the priest, or whoever he was, rambled on and on about him doing the best job he could to lead and guide the country. Yada yada yada. Even during Theo's coronation he'd been bored stiff. Now he was during his own. That thought depressed him. As much as Theo had been convinced that Donovan had wanted his crown, the truth was that he never wanted to be king. He never wanted to lead the country. He never wanted any of this. At the right time, he said, "This I solemnly swear to do." Some kind of promise or something or other. They'd rebuilt the throne room in a surprising amount of time. Like last time, the room was filled with nobles and politicians and, of course, Elizabeth and his mother. His mother had an expression of mixed pride and grief. Pride for her son and grief for her other son. He didn't even dare to try and read Elizabeth's expression. As the priest turned to place the crown on Donovan's head, movement at the very end of the room, near the door, caught his attention. He stared at it for several moments before his eyes widened in disbelief. He stood up, startling the priest who struggled to catch the crown he'd nearly dropped. Once he had, he shot a glare at the prince who didn't even notice. "Theo!"
Theo's ribs ached in several places. So did his arms and legs. And his back. And his stomach. Surprisingly, the only place that didn't hurt was his head. He was glad for that. He could stand any physical pain except for headaches. Looking around at the familiar architecture, he thought once again how good it was to be home. When the throne room had been bombed and the roof caved in, he'd been captured by hunters who'd tried vainly to get him to reveal secrets about his species. Luckily, some fellow Bineri had found and rescued him before he'd revealed anything. His clothes were ratty, his hair and skin covered in a mixture of dirt, sweat and blood. He was covered in injuries but none that needed to be seen to immediately. But, despite all that, his eyes were practically glowing with the joy of being home. He'd heard the Donovan was been crowned in his place and, frankly, he didn't care. All he cared about was seeing his brother, mother and wife again. As he pushed open the door and stepped inside the throne room, his eyes immediately landed on Donovan. Before he had a chance to look for his mother and Elizabeth, he realized that Donovan had spotted him too. He watched as his brother stood up, startling the priest into nearly dropping the crown. Then, his twin yelled his name and everyone turned to stare at the newcomer whom they realized was actually none other than their missing Crown Prince. Theo watched as Donovan jumped off the dais and ran down the length of the throne room towards him. He expected Donovan to stop or at least slow down. But he didn't. Theo's eyes widened as Donovan collided him with, knocking them both to the ground. He wondered if he'd made a mistake and Donovan was actually trying to kill him but, when he felt his brother's arms around him, felt Donovan's cheek pressed to his and heard his twin's blubbering words that he couldn't even make out, he smiled and hugged him back, the two twins clinging to one another.

Elizabeth watched Donovan as he was soon to be crowned as king. Her face she tried to keep expressionless though it was hard for her to do so with her chest aching as she remembered what exactly happened now long ago. All the memories of Theo and the explosion kept running through her mind, leaving a deep frown on her face. Her dull blue eyes suddenly widdened as Donovan stood abrutly, nearly making the preist drop the royal crown that was about to be placed upon his head. At the name he called she felt her entire being begin to shake as her chest tightened making it hard to breath. Her eyes followed Donovan as he ran down the asile to someone that had just walked inside the room. Before she could see who it was she saw Donovan tackle the person to the ground. She stepped away from her seat and slowly began making her way toward the two as the hugged one another. Was it really Theo, or was this all a trick to full with? She stood and watched them, tears slipping down her tanned cheeks as all emotion broke from her hold. Fear... Worry... Pain... Joy... and many other emotions showered themselves over her elegant face.

Theo smiled as he felt his brother's face buried in the crook of his neck. Donovan's frame shook within his grip but he hardly noticed. He pressed the side of his face against his brother's hair, taking in the scent that had followed him his whole life and he had missed more than all the others. Yes, he loved Elizabeth with all his being but Donovan was his brother, his twin, his other half. They were incomplete without each other. Opening his eyes and disturbing the tears that had formed there so they trickled down his face, he scanned the crowd that had formed around them before his eyes landed on his wife. Even though he did not release his brother to greet her, his bi-colored gaze filled with love and joy. He was finally home.

Elizabeth watched the two then she spotted the multicolored eyes that she knew only to belong to her dear Theo. She stared into them with her's as suddenly felt her knees collaspe from underneath her bring her down to her knees on the floor. Her arms hung limp at her sides as she continued to watch the two brothers as the embraced one another. After believing she had lost him forever he was back. Yea he was a bit abused by dirt, injuries, and blood but he was back which meant one thing, she was now remarried to him. She was going to hate to leave Donovan for him, but she knew that the crown was rightfully Theo's and she was rightfully his wife. Sadly she was starting to guess that the relationship between her and Donovan was not going to be the same. Even if it brought joy to her to have her true husband, she still was going to feel bad for leaving Donovan alone without a lover once more.

Theo's eyes widened as he watched Elizabeth's legs tremble before giving out, her falling to her knees. He was about to pull himself free from Donovan's grip and go to her but he didn't get the chance. He was suddenly pulled up, Donovan being shoved away from him as his mother all but smothered him in a crushing hug. He blinked, startled by the sudden change in position to the point that it took him a moment to realize what had happened. Smiling, he hugged his mother back, though weakly. He was still weak from his time being held prisoner and there was only so much excitement he could take at one time.
Donovan blinked dumbly as he was shoved away from his brother. Shaking his head, he watched as their mother all but tackled Theo, nearly crushing him in her grip. Despite his joy that his brother had returned, he felt a twinge of jealousy. If the same thing had happened to him, she wouldn't have embraced him like that upon his return. She probably wouldn't have even noticed he was gone. Turning away, he got to his feet and walked over to Elizabeth who seemed to be in a state of shock. At least, that was what he guessed was the cause of her collapse. Sitting down beside her, he lowered her to sit down completely instead of just kneeling. He knew how painful that could be for a person's knees. He didn't say anything, knowing that at that point anything he said would come out as a hurtful remark.

Elizabeth watched weakly as their mother took Theo into her hold, her legs being to weak for her to move so she too could embrace him. As she felt Donovan place her on her bottom she looked over at him, her eyes half way closed. Not knowing what else to do she wrapped her arms around Donovan's throat as she placed her face against his chest as more tears escaped from her eyes. Neither of them said anything, though she simply stayed silent because she knew if she tried to speak her voicec would come out as a squeak or whisper.

When he felt Elizabeth's arms around his neck, any bitterness or jealousy Donovan felt vanished. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. It seemed like only moments that he held her before he lifted his eyes again and there was Theo, right beside them. Smiling at his brother, he carefully unwound Elizabeth's arms from his neck and handed her off to her husband who quickly gathered her up in his arms, holding her to himself.

Elizabeth was just beginning to enjoy Donovan's embrace when she felt him remove her from him. She opened her eyes wider to look at him but then her gaze moved away from him to Theo. As he took her into his embrace she quickly wrapped her arms around him as she pressed her face into the crook of his neck. She shook gently as she cried in his arms, thankful to once again be in his arms.

Theo closed his eyes, burying his face in Elizabeth's hair and breathing in her scent. Oh how he had missed her. He couldn't even put into words how much he had missed her. Lowering his face from her hair to the crook of her neck, he pressed several short, light kisses along her skin. "I'm here, Elizabeth," he murmured quietly. "I'm here." All the while, he could feel the gaze of everyone in the room on them but he didn't care. He had been gone far too long and he had missed his wife. So sue him if he wanted to hold her again.

Elizabeth's weeping silenced to light sobs that soon stopped completely. As his voice drifted into her ears she couldn't help but smile to herself. Lifting her head from the crook of his neck she grabbed his face in both of her hands and stared at his face as she rubbed her thumb's gently against his cheeks. "I thought I lost you forever Theo." she told him gently, not noticing the many looks they were being given by their audience.
