"When I was in the village, the told me they were getting ready for the new year celebration, the year of the monkey. That means we are in about January or February of the year 1212 by the western calendar. They said there would be a big festival in a few days."

"Year of the Monkey, eh?! Well aren't we lucky..." Eiji refers to the big event and how no one will notice them if they slipped in. Eiji walks with Sasori and looks at the palace. Eiji thinks back, calculating the time and other such things. So the greatest blacksmith is not even born yet. Great, that's more of a reason to stop Tarik.

We have to be very wary; there may be demon warriors in there; fortunately I think I'll sense them before they manage to attack us. Unfortunately if I do... they may sense it and attack. Kill too many and we'll blow our cover, Onyx thought. Knowing Tarik, he likely had Willow's stone on his person, which would make it very difficult to reach it.

"The cover as travellers coming to town for the new year works well. With the streets crowded, we can blend in. A lady told me there would be entertainers at the village and at the palace. Maybe Acos can get in as a dancer." said Sasori.

Then it works out, we shall be traveling performers... Eiji claps his hands together. Onyx can do music, Sky and Acos the dancers, and the rest... I'm not sure. But I'm sure we could pull it off. Eiji continued to ponder of the infinite possibilities that could come from this.

Well, let's hop to it! Acos said as she stepped out of the coach. She walke dup to the castle gates, and knocked the heavy knocker. Almost instantly, a small man answered the door and ushered them inside. "Za king ish waiting, Zinno." he said. Who is "Zinno"?

Onyx strode just behind Eiji, somehow having gotten there without causing a ruckus and appearing utterly at ease, as if he'd been standing there the entire time.

I doubt that will be difficult, considering most of us look utterly different from what we did when Tarik last saw us... and I doubt the b*****d knows anything of us, really, Onyx said dryly.

that's true. all of our appearances have changed dramatically and if we're here as entertainers our different appearances shouldn't be noticed as much. she thought as she walked in behind onyx. i can sing, if that helps. she thought to eiji smiling at him.
willow watched tarik from the doorway for a few seconds before stepping into the room and sitting down in her place. it seems he's noticed me. she thought, glancing at him again. i can sense the stone, it's here. he must have it.

Sky nodded in agreement, "Okay...that sounds good... Acos and I dancers.." she glanced at Acos, "I think I'll needed to teach you a few moves...before we go in...they will be easy not too hard..." she assured Acos.
