yea, it was pretty cool. though i didnt think there was really much to the last battles. id have to say that the end of the first one was a little (and i mean a little) more challenging.

Oni and I were chatting over the phone while she was finishing the final battles... at most they were only like five minutes long all together... she kept getting angry because the story line seemed to be falling into chaos and the battles were puny...

Awwww....well that sucks! I'm really sorry to hear that. Although in a lot of games the final bosses really aren't so crazy, because you're so beefy and such. If you want a more challenging game try Legends of Dragoon.....it takes SKILLS in order to be good, since there's timing in ALL your attacks in order to get multiple hits. Unless you're doing a magic attack....but to do that you have to build up SP by hitting the enemies to where you can turn into your Dragoon form to cast magic. ^^;

There's a lot of hard games. Just usually, RPGs are easier because you can mass level up. People even try to level up in the beginning, like the KH1 lv 99 Destiny Island runs. Games like Viewtiful Joe, however, don't allow much upgrading. Ultra V-Rated was a- *text ends here*

Yeah.....I'm having trouble just passing viewtiful joe 1 on normal....I think I might go back to the bigenning and get better stuff...^^;; If I get a better head start then maybeh the rest will be easier...

If you beat Normal and then V-rated, you should have all the powerups except the last health upgrade (It costs a LOT).
In Ultra V-Rated, There are no enemy attack icons, enemies (And especially bosses) have more heath. The Water boss's health goes from re to red. Also, enemies do at least double damage. Starting with minimal stats on Ultra can end up getting you killed in one strike.

Silvia on Ultra is suicidal, imagine taking double damage plus another double damage.
Alastor gets annoying because playing as his transformed form takes VFX just standing still.
Blue is good, but there are no attack icons with him ever.

I played only one viewtiful joe game, the second one and it was a demo. That was the last time i ever played the game, reason being that the demo version on that specific demo disc was a glitch and erased ALL of the data on your memory cards... I didn't get the notice of the glitch until two months after. I was very upset... but then figured, Nyeh... just gives me another chance to do better with those games than before...
