"Pity? Why pity when you do not know me?" Atella asked, raising an eyebrow. Only reason why she didn't argue against the second reason was because she agreed, though she also saw the reason for her punishment. She was a slave and he was her master. She was given orders which she refused and ended up killing a man..  

[Zahzi]

"I knew the man you killed. Let's just say, he wasn't well liked amonst the nobles...At all."

"I still murdered someone. And you had no idea who I was."

"In one of the appearances he made, he spoke of a lowly slave he had matching your description, and took pride in the fact of your mistreatment."

"...What did he say, exactly..?" Atella asked, her eye getting a slight twitch.  

[Zahzi]

"...Nightly beatings, forced without meals, torturous tasks..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Sounds about right..." Atella grunted.

"So you're saying you stopped me execution because you felt bad for me..?"  

[Zahzi]

"And I knew you were justified."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Even though I killed a man? A slave killing her master because she did not like her orders?"  

[Zahzi]

"Have you not noticed I do not own slaves..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...What about the people in your house though? And how does that relate to my story?"  

[Zahzi]

"They are hired. They have their own families, which I give them money to support." Divinious said, crossing his arms.

"Many of them were slaves too." Divinious said, nodding behind him at the Gladiators.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...I still don't see where this relates to me." Atella said. "Why did you save me? Was it just simple pity? Because Krom keeps telling me my own survival must mean I have a purpose, but I don't agree. So he told me I have to find the answers on my own, and I don't understand anything anymore."  

[Zahzi]

"Huh...And here I figured Krom didn't have any real philosophy in him..." Divinious said, rubbing his chin.
"But like he said, you'll need to find the answers on your own..."
