Liz faught against the controlling power of the swords, but it didn't work. She couldn't even open her mouth to reply. After fighting a moment, she was able to regain control just long enough to dive into the portal the demon had created and went through. Seconds later, she landed in Hell.

Chi could hear what was going on but her body hurt too much to do anything

Liz did her best to stay hidden. Every now and then, someone would spot her, and she would have to find a different place to hide. Finally she was able to make the glowing white go away, so she looked like a normal person. She put the swords away and followed the demon silently.

A beautiful angel with long flowing hair walked up to Chi and placed her hand on her. It began glowing and healing Chi's wounds. "You must help save the man you love," the angel said in a gentle voice.

Liz was hiddin quite well in the courtroom. She was both hidden and could clearly see Kabal. Her plan was extremely risky, but it was the only one she had. Of course, for right now, she just had to sit and wait.

Liz was about to run out and grab Kabal's body. Then she planned to make some sort of get-away. Now she had a different plan. She stepped out into the open and all eyes went directly to her. "I object," she said in a strong voice.

Liz raised an eyebrow at them. She was secretly surprised at how much confidence she had. "Tell me again exactally why you want this man sentanced to death." She used the words 'this man' so they would think she didn't know him. Luckily it worked.

Liz chuckled darkly. "He has caused you so much harm, and yet you're going to punish him - nay - grace him with death? Surley you of all people should know there are far worse punishments than death."

Liz laughed as she began pacing up and down in front of the jury. "Merciful? Merciful?? You're the Council of Hell for crying out loud! You're not supposed to be merciful! Give me one century with him and if he's not begging you for death by then, you can kill both of us. If he is," she gave them a cruel smile, "Why not just sit back and enjoy his suffering?" She walked up to them and whispered so the other demons couldn't hear. "Plus, if the civilians see what happens when they disobey you, they won't dare cross you ever again."
